Great pet car seat! Quality made. My dog loves it...but consider buying a seat slightly bigger than the product recommends. My dog weighs 15 lbs. and in order for her to lay down in it I bought the large size. It is a very safe manner to have a dog travel with you in the car. But instead of hooking the leash like adapter onto your dog's collar, use a harness instead and then attach it to the leash for safety reasons.

I bought this same booster seat a year ago for my parents doxie. Both the dog and my parents really enjoy it. They can take drives and the dog can ride securely in the back seat (away from airbags), see out of the car and take naps comfortably. I just bought another one for my doxie so that he can ride in the same comfort and security. I had one of the seats that had a plastic frame but it wasn't as secure as this one so I was glad when Overstock had it back. This one secures well with the seatbelt and, although the strap for the dog is long, it took just a minute to shorten it. The fabric isn't slippery so he doesn't slip around in the seat. I did buy the larger size because I have a full-size doxie so a little bit long and he can stretch out while sleeping in the car. My friend has the same booster seat and uses it for both of her mini-doxies. I recommend this booster seat for anyone with a small dog that enjoys looking out of the window.

I read reviews of both the medium and large size. I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought the large size for my 15 lb dog and it was the perfect size. She had plenty of room to lay down comfortably. We went on a 14 hr road trip (7 hours each way) and my dog liked it very much. Easy to install in the backseat of the car. A couple of user notes: * As others have mentioned, attach this to a harness (NOT a collar) * The little straps were too long (again, as others have mentioned). For the short term, I tied a knot to shorten the straps. I'm going to take a sewing machine to permanently make them shorter by an inch or two

My 2 Yorkies fit perfectly. My Yorkies are 4.5lbs and 6.5lbs and they can both sit up and lay down in this seat. Extremely light weight, matches my interior perfectly, and great quality. You can put it up in the front seat or the back. Love it!!

Construction okay, however, as with a previous review the straps are far too long. I also had to tie knots in them otherwise our little fellow was able to climb out of the seat. The seat provided the height our 5 month old Havanese needed to see out of the window and the actually bed portion seemed comfortable as he slept a lot on our cross country trip of 2,500 miles. The dog was able to sit, stand and turn around.

I bought this product after adding a second small dog to my family. Together the dogs were crazy in the car, and on the path to causing a car crash!!! I strap this into the backseat of my Jeep, and my dogs LOVE it. My 7 pound Chihuahua loves to put his face out the window, and this seat lets him do it safely. There is more than enough room for him and my 9 pound Maltipoo to both lay comfortably. The straps are a bit too long, but a few knots make an easy fix. LOVE LOVE LOVE This seat!!!

This booster seat not only secures my small dog in the back seat of the car but allows her to be high enough to happily look out the window as we travel. It is a necessary item for a happy small dog. The price was right too!

I have a 20 lb. bicheon and he absolutely loves his new car seat ! It comes in a few colors and one matched my car perfectly. He snuggles comfortably in his seat and is high enough to see out the window . My seats are heated and I could only laugh when I found out that this car seat has a heat attachment if you choose to use it ! I reccommend it for any spoiled pooch!

Product arrived well wrapped & protected. Great condition and color as expected. Product was as described. Useful for small dogs that need to look outside (car sickness). I would recommend you have a proper harness for your dog before using this product.

Bought a new SMART CAR and needed a new seat for my Chihuahua. She loves to look out the windows, so I purchased this one on Overstock. I love the new seat and so does my Chihuahua, Liza. Provides great visibility, plush comfort, and is very nice looking. I got the black shiney one with the fleece bed.

I read many reviews on this product and am glad I made the right choice. Most everyone commented on the straps being to long. Yes, they are long but this should accommodate for the larger dog. I do have a small dog, 10lbs, and the straps work ok. Yes, she can get out of the bed but she is not hanging and chocking therefore, I am glad the straps are long enough. Just tie them in a knot to shorten. The product works great for us as we travel the East Coast for vacation, it is a two day trip, and Nikki loves her new bed. The large fits the front seat perfectly and Nikki never gets out of her bed - she now loves looking out the window and of course napping in her new carrier.

This is a great seat, but it just won't work for my dogs. Nothing wrong with the product, my boys are just a little too tall for it.

We have two mini dachsunds and they both ride comfortably. It is lite enough to be easy to handle and place in our vehicles. We are very pleased with the quality of the booster seat and the style. The "babies" enjoy being able to see out of thewindows and seem to enjoy the ride. We shortened the safety straps because we use a travel harness to contain our dogs andthey are too long when attached to the harnesses.

This seat is a little wider than my from seat but I can still make it work. It would be fine for the back seat. My 12lb maltipoo seems to like it and it is so much better than him wanting to ride in my lap. Also product was a lot less expensive than I've seen on other sites.

The first pet booster seat that we had bought actually hung off the head rest. We thought it was a bit awkward for our chihuahua-mix. She didn't ride well and didn't ride often. So we then decided to search for something that sat on the seat, thinking that it will be much more secure and therefore give us a better peace of mind. The medium booster seat was the recommended size for a dog about 13 pounds, but we had chosen the large hoping that it will be comfortable for her. She can sit, stand, lie down, and turn around all while strapped in; most important, the seat keeps its shape during this routine. It is soft, firm, durable and sturdy. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.

My dog Lily seems to be comfortable in the seat. She is able to look out of the window while laying down. Lily is a Coton de Tulear, about 12 pounds, and this size seat fits her well. The only thing I had to do was put two knots in the harness tether. Even taken in as short as it goes, it was still too long and a potential hazard for injury.

I have 2 small terrier mixes. It is a little tight for them, but they are able to lay down side by side. They prefer to sit up and look out, and there is plenty of room for that. The fabric is not quite what I expected, but I have washed the pillow cover and although you have to do it by hand, it washes well. All in all I am satisfied.

I was hoping this would be big enough for my 2 doxies but it a little to small for them. They do ride in it together but they are pretty much on top of each other. I had to add a blanket pad to this because the pad that comes with it is pretty flimsy and doesn't stay put. Wish it were just a little bigger, I am going to purchase another one so my dogs each have one of their own.

I wish they would have an extra long version of this product. I bought the large for my 20 pound mini schnauzer and he really is a bit to long even though he weights less than it states. But is also takes up more than just one person space in the back of my PT Cruiser. I had to buckle in the middle seat belt. Overall if you dog is smaller it would be great. The outer shell is a little cheap. I wish it could be laundered because my dog got carsick and had to handwash and air dry. But a good product and cheaper than other sites I looked at.
