Great dog stairs Love this item, although the cover is not the same as picture. The actual cover does not completely cover the steps. There is a fabric strip about 1/3~1/2 of the width of the step placed on the center of the step, revealing the carpet underneath instead of physically having carpet on the cover. This is the second dog stairs I've ever purchased. My first one cost only $20. It was for a 7lb Maltese but the stairs was so flimsy I returned it right away. This time I am purchasing for two 26 lb corgi mixes so I knew it has to be something sturdy enough.This one is sturdy yet light weight enough for me to transfer it from my couch to my bed. The pieces snap together quite easily. I love the wide step of these stairs, makes it really easy for my pups to go up and down. The non-slip base grip is a very useful feature but my pups jump off the stairs instead of slowly walk off so I still need to put some weight under the stairs to insure the base stays completely still. There are super heavy ones that will stand still even when my dogs jumping off but I don't have $200~300 to spend on doggy steps. Besides, I'd like to be able to move the stairs without pulling my muscle. So overall, I think this a great buy, fits pretty much all my needs with very reasonable price.
