Mastiff Ramp I have an older mastiff who is Mr. Popularity at the local feed store. Everyone was so disappointed to hear he couldn't climb into the truck anymore, and I didn't like the sad look in his eye when he couldn't pull himself up into the truck. He weighs nearly 200#, so I needed something substantial and this ramp is IT. I like the non-slip surface. The wider area makes sense for my big boy, so he isn't as nervous climbing up it. I also like that it has its own supports and doesn't rely on clamps to stay in place. This is the safest best choice for my big hearted fella. It isn't exactly light weight, but I'd be afraid of something too flimsy, but it folds up neatly enough to fit in the truck. Hercules is pleased with the purchase, too. We just got it, so I can't speak to the durability of the product yet, but it looks sturdy enough for the job it has to do, and that usually means a longer life.

Just the right incline and gripping surface My Boston Terrier has gotten acclimated to the ramp and uses it to get onand off the bed., regularly. He no longer jumps off the bed and risks the possibilty of injuring his legs.

Great Ramp!! I purchased this ramp so my 54 pound dog could get on my bed without help and it worked great!! I would definitely recommend this product. It is everything it states it is and more. There is no assembly and even my smaller dog and cat use it.

It looks like what I need for my aging 80# lab. He loves riding in our SUV & truck but is having difficulty getting into the vehicles lately. I thought he would be less likely to be afraid with the free standing ramps. They shouldn't bounce as much as the non-free standing ramps. I have tried steps (a mounting block) and he won't use them. Overstock's price was the best that I could find for the extra wide version.
