This is a very attractive and functional gate. It will probably not contain a large dog but is perfect for my two smaller dogs.

Looked for a wooden gate for a long time. This is perfect and a great value. Good quality Has tipped over once or twice.. wouldn't recommend for big dogs who can jump on it. My dogs are small, it tipped over because I bumped it. If it is properly set up, not straight across but as show in the photo, it is less unsteady. I love the walk-thru gate.

Solidly made, beautiful wooden gate. It adds to beauty of home rather than detracting because it is very attractive, mahogany-like shade of wood; keeps my 2 large labs confined when I don't want them to shower their exuberant love upon visitors entering through front door! Keeping them further away / at beginning of foyer helps keep them calmer. We really love the easy to use swing open gate with closure. Ordered 2 gates; also use on deck when I want to keep dogs from roaming yard. Gates came fully assembled...that was a plus. Extremely pleased with purchase. No regrets!

The product came partially broken. One of the parts of the gate was damaged to the point where I had to put wood glue to put the pieces back together. My dog (who is 15 lbs) pushed thru the door, as the latch at the top of the door is not very sturdy. Additionally the gate is pretty flimsy, feels like it is waiting to break every time I move the gate. Definitely not worth the money paid for it.
