After significant research, I purchased two of the Ozzie Ortho Dog Beds. They were priced competively and were well worth the money with their extra thick ortho cushioning. In addition to their superior comfort, these Dog Beds include zippers in their covers that provide easy removal and washing without sacrificing the actual ortho material. If I had a complaint, the beds provide so much additional comfort and relief to their joints that the dogs often wish to stay on the beds during the day.Read More
Bought several of these for our dogs. Great for older dogs. Difficult to wash and they do flatten out after awhile.Read More
I have 2 Boston Terriers - age 8 and 9. Up until this purchase, I had been getting the cheapest bed pillow from Wal-mart because that fits inside their crates perfectly and afer a couple months, when it is really stinky and farily torn up, its cheap to replace. HOWEVER, for the past 6 months my older BT has been shredding her pillow at least every-other week - I finally figured out she was trying to get comfortable, but the cheap pillow wasn't very supportive and ripped easily when she tried to "nest". I decided to bite the bullet and risk buying a more expensive bed for her (hoping this wouldn't be tossing money in the trash). I am pleasantly surprised - she's been using this bed for over a month and has done it no harm. It must be very comfy, because I don't see her doing that "nesting" behavior in an attempt to make it feel better. I have not had to wash it - I always put a blanket over the bed and just wash the blanket. I did spray it with Febreeze a week or so ago - that took care of the mild doggy smell. I am ordering one for the other dog and 2 for their crates at our lake house. The extra-small size fits into their 19" x 24" crates perfectly. We use smaller crates in the car - I wish these came in that smaller size as well.Read More
