This house was easy to put together. Slats in floor have spaces. I used foam insulation to cover the interior to make it more cozy in cold weather cost me $$. I compared prices and I got a Very good price on Overstock. I am Pleased.

I bought this "dog" house for a feral cat that has chosen to spend time with us. We have cold winters in VA and I wanted to offer some protection for the kitty since I couldnt bring her inside (four others inside already and I can't bring them ALL in (or so I"m told) ~sigh~). This small size dog house is perfect. It's large enough I can put a heated pet bed surrounded by a soft blanket on one side and it still leaves it open enough on the door side so she doesnt feel trapped. It took all of about five minutes for her to sniff it out and give her approval. She sleeps in it every night now. It was easy to put together and seems to be pretty sturdy (plus it's cute). I may add some clear plastic strips to the door to keep the wind and rain out but for now it serves it's purpose perfectly. I would totally recommend this dog house to anyone with a very small dog or cat.

Adorable and easy to assemble. Very well designed and well made. The price was awesome. I bought two and wish there had been another available.

This is a beautiful dog house, but I would recommend it only for smaller dogs. I have a wire fox terrier and he is a little over 18 inches tall. The door is only 15 inches, so it's a little difficult for him to get in. The house is very easy to put together. Took me all of about 45 minutes. Be careful with the wood and inspect it well. It could crack easily if you tighten the screws too tight.
