I needed to get the dogs out of my garage, bought the houses at a store in my home town, and needed a plastic doorway to keep the weather out, thanks to overstock,I fould this product, works perfect ,and easy to installRead More
great concept but installation or removal of requires u to lay inside of the dog house opening to do so. Its too hot here most of the year to use these all years and if you keep a plush pet bed in your dog house too it wonít be flappy and gets caught on bed too even when trimmed down. we didnít re-install this winter.Read More
My dog house has the door centered to the house front. It was easy to assemble with just a screwdriver. I went ahead and put a clear sealer over the existing stain, as the wood being so thin I was concerned how it would hold up to the elements. My dog is an 80 lb. yellow lab, and she has plenty of room to share with her best friend Felix the Cat. Very cute addition to the patio, and she likes it !!Read More
The door is cute! It is a bit longer than expected for the house we chose but it does cover the door well.Read More

This product came timely, as pictured, as described with accurate measurements as mentioned. The flaps are of a good quality plastic, although they don't overlap which could be a "con" on the product itself since it would have kept more weather out that way. I believe the dog house seems warmer since installing the door. Installation was very easy - please note I am a female, not a carpenter by any means however I am comfortable using an electric drill. This comes with the 2 screws necessary to install and I crawled inside her dog house and put it up in about 5 minutes. Weather in my area is harsh and snow used to blow inside the dog house via crosswinds, but now it doesn't. Rain stayed out as well and the dog is much more comfortable. The flaps would be very annoying if you had a dog house facing against frequent winds, however with a frequent cross wind it is great. My dog's house growing up had similar flaps, however they were overlapping and kept the house even warmer. Both my golden retrievers and American staffordshire terrier were/are comfortable pushing through the flaps to get inside and out. I simply had to encourage her to walk in and out a couple times to get used to the flaps in her face and she has no problem with it. I recommend this.Read More

How to Clean a Large Dog Bed
The biggest pups need a comfortable large dog bed to accommodate their size when nap time rolls around. Large dog beds can be cumbersome, however, especially when you need to clean them. Whether you're cleaning off fur and muddy paw prints or deep urine stains, properly cleaning pet beds can keep you and your furry friend happy and healthy.
How to Pick the Right Dog Door Size
A dog door gives both the owner and his dog freedom. The dog can go in and out of the house at will, and the owner has flexibility in his schedule -- no more running home to let pets out. A dog door does not need to be the exact size of your dog for your pet to fit through it comfortably. Here are the top tips for buying a pet door for your home.
Best Dog Bowls for Large Breeds
Weighing in at 50 pounds or more, large breed dogs require special feeders and waters to make mealtime easier on their joints, digestive system, and spine. Special dog bowls are also a healthier choice for big dogs since they help minimize bloat. Excessive air buildup in a dog's stomach can lead to serious health complications, including obstructed veins in the abdomen, damage to internal organs, low blood pressure, shock, or even death. Fortunately, several types of dog bowls can make mealtime healthier and more comfortable for a large breed dog.
Foods Your Dog Cannot Eat
Many of the foods you eat and enjoy every day are actually unsafe for your dog. Pets have different digestive and metabolic systems from humans, what's healthy for you isn't always healthy for Fido. Feeding your dog table scraps is never a good idea, no matter how hard he turns on the puppy dog eyes, but there are certain foods that are more dangerous than others. The following list covers some of the more common -- and most dangerous -- foods that you should avoid feeding to your dog.
Best Places to Take Your Dog
Pamper your pooch this weekend with a special day just for your dog. You'll both enjoy the chance to get out of the house and hit up someplace new. You can mingle with other dog owners while your dog gets to meet new friends, too, or take a day just for the two of you to do some serious bonding. These ideas will help you choose the perfect place and the perfect pet travel supplies for taking your dog out for a day of play.
Best Dog Beds for Small Dogs
Treating your dog to the best means giving him a cozy place to curl up in at night. If you have a small dog, however, finding the right dog bed isn't always easy. Smaller dogs and puppies may get lost in a bed designed for a larger dog, and may not even sleep on it at all. When you're shopping for pet beds for your little dog, you'll want to consider these tips.

Best Chew Toys for Dogs
Chew toys for dogs fall into several categories, and the best kinds of pet toys for your dog depend in part on your dog's habits. You don't want to choose pet chew toys for a dog that swallows rawhides instead of chewing on them or a very hard chew toy for an older dog with missing teeth. Some dog chew toys are safe if ingested piece by piece, while other dog toys are meant to be gnawed on for a long time. Here is how to pick the best dog chew toys for your pet.

How to Put Rhinestones on Your Cell Phone
There was a time when personalizing your cell phone meant using your favorite song as the ringtone and a picture of your dog as the screen saver. Adding rhinestone designs to the outside cover of your phone is just another way for you to personalize it. All you need is your cell phone and the right arts and crafts supplies.
Outdoor Fun for Your Pets
When the weather warms up, everyone wants to be outside, especially your pets. Even the most timid of house cats could benefit from a little fresh air from time to time. So whether you have a cat, dog, rabbit, turtle, or parrot, here are a few tips to help them have a little fun in the great outdoors.
How to Choose the Right Dog Kennel Size
One of the first things you need for a new dog is a quality dog kennel. The right dog kennel can help potty train your puppy, make traveling and vet visits with your dog easier, and give your dog a cozy place to curl up at night or to keep out of mischief while you're away. The wrong size dog kennel, however, can make things uncomfortable for your pooch and a pain for you. As a rule of thumb, kennels and crates should be at least 4 inches taller and longer than your dog and allow him to stand, sit, and turn around easily. You'll also want to make sure there is water and a blanket or towel in there for him. These guidelines can help you find the right fit for your pup when shopping for dog kennels.
