  The size of the bed was great but the cushioning inside made a "crunching" sound. My puppy started to immediately attack it because it sounded like a toy, not a bed. The interior was just not as soft as I would have liked or expected...it felt very cheap. The color was also a very unattractive rust. Not worth the money.

  I chose these because we were sick of looking at the ratty, fur-covered pet peds on our living room floor. These look more like furniture than a pet bed. Sturdy and more like an ottoman. The cats LOVE them. They climb inside, curl up and act like they never want to come out. The cat I was most skeptical about investigated it for about an hour, then settled right in. The other one, who will climb into anything left unattended, was more hesitant. I put treats inside and sprayed a little catnip spray toward the back and next thing I knew she was inside, dozing away. They also like to lie on top of it now and then, which I don't mind at all because it's "their furniture" and it keeps them off "our furniture!" I highly recommend these, but keep in mind that they are a good size bed. Probably typical size in terms of width, but they are 18" high. Great if you have a good space or corner to nestle them into.   The filler for the bed does not adeqautely support the dog. After one use there was a depression of several inches in the middle of the bed that keeps coming back after every use. The bolster is only attched on the ends. With use it moves and takes up space on the bed. So, if your dog likes to sleep in a hole, its the perfect bed. I brought my dog's old bed back, and she immediately got in it.

  Well, I am speaking for Quincy now, but, OMG, he loves it. He is a Pomeranian puppy. He loves this bed, day or night. It is deep and with the sides, he feels secure.
