Not sure if I received an unused item.
The cat is happy and that is what is important. However, I recieved a fully assembled product in a mostly destryoed box that had been crudely cobbled together out of two boxes. The pagoda was filthy and it smelled like glue and dirt. The posts are made of single carpet covered 2x4s, which look more like 4x4 post in the picture. It needs more support, there is nothing tying the four legs together anywhere other than the base and the top house. The carpet is cut poorly and in spite of the gluey smell, the carpet is loose and appears to only be stapled on to the wood. I paid about $$$ for what I thought was new. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to pay more, and would have sent the item back if it was not a total inconvenience to do so.
