Cat's Best Friend!!
Naturally it was delivered while my husband was out of town. I locked the cats up so they wouldn't be running out the door while I tried to drag/push it into the house. I guess I should have read the description better because I wasn't prepared mentally to tackle a cat tree almost seven foot tall but after walking around it several times I decided that the best way to tackle the job was to just get it as close to the door as possible and push it over. I pushed & pulled it into the house and then began to unpack it. This is when I discovered what a good piece of cat furniture it was. It's very heavy and well built. After leaving the cats out of the locked room there was no peace until I got it unboxed and uprighted so they could give it their seal of approval. Before I had even taken the box out to the garage the cats were climbing up the outside and inspecting all the different levels. It has a smaller footprint than most cat trees so it will fit in a corner very well. The cats are all over it and fighting for occupancy rights. They're in love.

Compact footprint but not for indoors use
We bought this to put in our son's bedroom so that our cats could reach his loft bed. It is attractive because it has a small footprint, yet is quite tall. Unfortunately, we have to return the tower because it has a strong, repulsive smell. We tried airing it outside for days, but the smell has not diminished. The odor filled our house--it was actually nauseating. The smell is chemical, not a sharp solvent smell, but more in line with the wood fibers or particle board glue.

Great condo!
This condo is great for my two cats. It is sturdy and well balanced in my living room . It satisfies my cats need to leap to high places and hide. I use it as their feeding place for dry food by putting a little on each level. The only cons I have is the limited choice of color and that it does shed because of the shag material.

New Cat Condos 6-foot Cat Tower
I think this is not only a great buy since cat condos are so expensive but this one is well made and very tall. My cat loves it and it's a much better buy than Petsmart or Petco! Thanks Fuzzy is so happy!

Pretty good considering the price
This is a great tower for the price. It isn't extremely well made though. The carpet is not the best quality and kind of loose in some areas. I ordered two and one of the towers is crooked. I would give 5 stars if it didn't smell so badly. I have put the towers in my cat's outside enclosure to air them out. They are so smelly, that I can't have them in my house without getting a headache. What I really like about the towers is the weight. I have heavy cats and they don't pull them over when they climb them. I have had that problem with other towers. There are better made towers out there, but not for this price. Overall, I would buy again.

New Cat Condos 6 foot Cat Tower
Our cats absolutely LOVE this cat tree. We do too. It's so solid. We love that it's very sturdy and tall yet, due to the fact that it's not very wide, it fits nicely in a corner. We have other trees that our cats enjoy, but this one is just so solid, it's amazing. Our cats love to climb it, as they would a real tree outside and, while doing so, there is no fear of it tipping. It's a wonderful solid tree and a great deal for the money.

Not so great.
The mirror on the back of the platform isn't necessary, I don't think, and it makes the tower look cheap. I also don't understand how the cats are supposed to get into the top cubby. It seems too far for them to climb up into it from the platform. My two cats haven't seemed too interested in it, either, so I'm thinking of sending it back, but what a pain. It's very heavy.

Just What I Was Looking For
This is a nice sturdy, solid cat tower. It's heavy, and doesn't wobble even slightly when my large cats hit it hard. It's also got a small footprint - 17" square - and fits nicely into the spot I wanted it for, a corner between two windows. The carpet is dense and good quality, I expect it to hold up well. The two upright poles have solid cores, not like those cheap cardboard tubes in other condos that fall apart after a couple of months. This tower is a hit - all levels have been occupied almost non-stop from the time it arrived - cats on the top 4 levels, a small-medium sized dog in the bottom "box". I looked at literally hundreds of cat towers before purchasing this one, and couldn't be more satisfied. It has everything I was looking for at an unbeatable price.
