My 14 year old dog is in LOVE with this bed! We ordered a memory foam mattress topper and I decided to get Jane her own memory foam bed since she has arthritis and is stiff in the mornings. I see a marked improvement in just two days. You may want to get one for your "senior" dog or cat!

Dog 1: My older dog has stopped sneaking up in the couch when we are not home. This "magically" occurred when we got this bed. Coincidence? Probably not. Dog 2: This lab mix is sooo social and always wants to be near the hubby and me. However, she will occasionally go into the other room to use the other Orthopedic dog bed. Sigh, that's why I am back on this site. I have to replace the other dog beds I have with these. (The other dog beds have holes in them.) Worth the price because the dogs will not tear a hole right through the middle. I marked 4 stars for durability cause the lab mix chewed a little corner off. She's a puppy and she has stopped it. However, a stronger material would have received 5 stars. Final thought. Best dog bed I have seen and since it is shaped like a big pillow you can easily replace the cover to match your home or if the dogs have an accident on them. Cover washes easily though.

By the description, I thought the entire bed was memory foam but the foam is 2-layers of 2 types of foam glued together - about 1/2 inch of memory foam and the rest is eggcrate foam. The bed still seems to be comfortable. The cover is easily washed and didn't shrink at all in cold water and low heat drying. Dog hair comes off easily because the cover is nylon.

I purchased two of these beds for my 9 year old Lab, Zeus. His arthritis is progressing and I wanted to have a truly comfortable bed for him. He loved it immediately. It must be comfy because when my 18 month old Granddaughter was visiting, we couldn't keep her off the bed and she often fell asleep on it. The dog hair does vaccum right off and yes I did clean it before my darling Granddaughter used it!

My dog loves it and she has severe arthritis. IIt has really helped her sleep comtfortabley though the night. Very good product

I was disapointed with the bed. It just seems cheap and not as thick and soft as I thought I would be. I've purchased better beds for lot less money. I was going to return it but my puppy soiled it. My older dog did not prefer the bed, she just plunked down on the tile right next to the bed. I was disapointed with Overstock with this item.
