Our bulldog has a similar bed she loves that we keep upstairs. It cost three times as much, so when I came upon this one, I thought it would be great to get her a second for the family room at a great price. When it arrived, she tried to scrape the mattress around into the perfect fluffy nest before laying down, only to find that there was no detachable mattress. The bed is all one piece. Poor thing was all confused and I felt terrible that I had cheaped out. My husband told me not to worry, and to give her a chance to get used to it. Within a day's time, we could barely pry her out of this thing. She loves it even better than the expensive bed. NOTE: If you're interested in the khaki, be aware that it isn't at all like the photo. It's a much darker, taupe-like khaki. Attractive, but not the same fabric as shown in the pic. (Which is why I lowered the appearance rating a touch.)

I have a greyhound/min-pin mix, about 38 pounds but with those looong greyhound legs so she seems bigger than her weight would suggest. This bed was the absolute *perfect* size for her. She likes curling up in a ball like a mouse sometimes to sleep, and other times she likes stretching out all over the place and hanging her head over the side. This bed is just right for either! She seems to really love how high the sides are, but that they are also soft and have a lot of "give". She just loves this bed, period. She rolls around in it, buries her face in it and makes happy sounds, and just looks so content with her head resting on the side staring at me. :-) I haven't washed it yet, so I'm hoping that it still holds up well after that. It seems to be very well constructed, though, and pet hair cleans off it easily with a lint roller. Thanks, Overstock, for such a dog-pleasing bed!

I purchased this bed because I am training my dog not to sleep in mine. She is 40 pounds and medium size. If she were any bigger I'd have gotten the next size up. She fits in the bed just fine because she likes to curl up in a ball against something soft or sleep with her head resting on the "wall" of the dog bed. So far it has held its shape and she seems to enjoy it..climbed right in as soon as I opened it! I haven't washed it yet but the fabric seems durable and the seams are strong. The khaki color is a nice neutral beige that goes with my furniture. I have purchased cheaper beds that were flat or round but without the raised sides and my dog either peed on it and walked away or ignored it completely. This one is a success! Worth every penny.

My family just bought me a new donut bed. It is soft but supportive, has nice, high sides to keep drafts off me, and it's easy to keep clean...just toss the whole thing in the washer. This bed is very well made so I think I will have it for a very long time. Highly recommend it.

I have two dogs a Shitz Shu and a Labradoodle and they each have one of these. They go to these when they need to regroup. The positions they get into shows us how much they love them. On their back with feet in the air is their favorite!

I bought this dog bed to replace our old foam bed because you can wash the whole thing. My dog is medium size, about 40 lbs. she LOVES the bed. I have yet to wash it but it looks like it will fit ok in my front loading washer.

I love this bed much better for my dog than the first one I had...(purchased at a known name pet store) alot easier to deal with and my dog seems to love it....and at least I can wash this one ....the other one I owned I couldnt...so thanks overstock!

Have 2 dogs - a 3 lb and 10 lb they both fit in the medium bed together. They seem very comfortable. Have not washed it yet. They like this bed as much as their old ratty bed I am trying to get rid of.

I originally ordered the small size bed and although I have a miniature schnauzer who weighs only 13 pounds, the bed was too small! I decided to take the chance, returned the small one and ordered the medium bed. It was worth the wait! The bed seems to be well-made, comfy, and most of all my dog loves it! I highly recommend this bed but you would be wise to order a size larger than you think your dog will need. The recommended size guidelines on the website are way off base!

My border terrier has never liked to sleep in dog beds. She instantly crawled into this one and fell asleep. I'm in complete shock that she doesn't even try to jump into our bed anymore. The bed is very soft and supportive as well as durable. Great buy!

Our dogs love them. Don't think they'll be easy to wash, so spot cleaning is on the calendar.

This dogbed is a lot of bang for the buck. My dogs love it and the size is good for both my cocker and springer spaniels.

The dog likes the (medium) bed. Padding seems good but it says it is machine washable. Unless you have a commercial size washer, DON"T! I have a l;arge top loader and it barely fit. On the spin cycle it burned a hole through the bed material due to the centrifugal forces causing the bed to expand and rub. It also lost some of the original green color. It looks so shabby it is relegated to the basement.

I only purchase products with great customer reviews, and that's why I purchased this bed. This bed had hundreds of customers raving and couldn't be a fluke, and I was right. My dog ripped up her bed and was without a bed for a couple of days, and this time I ordered a new one from Overstock. We were in the living room watching TV and usually she comes to hang out with us. But she chose to stay in the dark bedroom on her bed all by herself because she loved it so much! The best part is you can put the whole thing in the washer. The previous bed came with a mattress and a cover but the mattress couldn't be washed. My dog sweats a lot and the mattress smelled of her sweat. It was driving me crazy. But with this bed, no problem! I'm very happy with this product.

The beagles love their new beds! The quality of the materials was even better than I expected. Finally they are out of my bed and sleeping in their own!
