The concept is great with the extra length option on the handles. The issue I have with it is the rake. Wish I had gotten the spade because if the poop is dried onto something, or frozen to the grass or gravel- the flexible rake prongs act as a catapult while you are attempting to pry it (poop) loose- sending poop flying erratically at you. Not something you want to have happen. Really. The spade is better for a number of reasons too gross to get into- but use your imagination- and don't get the rake!

This is basic yard tool when you have a dog. It works fine and I use it daily.

This product was better then most I looked at and pretty heavy duty . The telescoping hadles are a big plus so you don't have to bend over . The Large Scoop if definitely large enough and made of steel thats painted as is the rake which also comes with the adjustable handle . The one thing I did notice was that the way the handle is mounted is pretty poor . Its riveted on and I dont see it holding up . I actually added a couple self tapping sheet metal screws to reinforce it to the scoop . So far its held up good as I have four dogs and that equals a lot of poop !! I actually ordered two because the price was good . All in all I feel its a good scoop and would recommend it , its better then the cheap plastic one that they sell .

I purchase this scoop because I have a very large dog and I need something bigger than what I could find in a pet store. The product works perfectly and I would highly recommend this product.

My husband is 6'5" tall and I'm 5'10" tall. The telescoping handles on this scooper are great for us...we don't have to hurt our backs anymore bending over to pick up the debris. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 overall is because I would like to see the manufacturer design a way to clip the scoop and rake together when not in use. Highly recommend the product.
