Doesn't last as long as advertised
The litter is advertised to last 30 days. For my one, somewhat elderly cat, it lasted about a week. I had previously tried a smaller (5-lb) bag of the stuff and it did fine (odor controlled, low-tracking, etc.) but this bag somehow didn't do as well. The sand got everywhere and the odor became overwhelming, and this is with cleaning the box at least twice daily. Kudos to overstock for making it available and getting it here quickly, but I really wouldn't recommend it to others.

Effective but Expensive
This litter is soft and fine, so my litter-shy cat actually likes using it enough to stop looking for softer spots outside the litter box, which is the main reason why I will continue buying it. I am also happy that it does not track as much as litters with larger particles, since a mat next to the box is sufficient to catch most of the sand adhering to paws coming out of the box. It does seem to absorb odors pretty well, but not anywhere near as miraculously as promised, so there is a lingering odor around the box once the litter has been used (even the domed lid box emits a faint odor). This litter does not really clump at all, which makes removing urine somewhat difficult since quite a bit of wet sand always escapes the scoop and dissolves into the dry litter remaining in the box. My biggest disappointment is that liquid spreads so widely through the sand that large quantities have to be removed daily. Open top litter box
The premise behind this item was great, but my cats would not use it with the cover on. I finally put the cover on the floor in front of it and that worked great. As a deep open top box, this one is great. I have a kitten who raises her bottom in the air and this box is deep enough to resolve all messy issues.

Works great
Product is as noted in description. We have a smalll 6lbs cat and she likes it. We left the top off as suggested for the first day. she had been kicking litter everywhere. This box stopped the mess. Works very well!

Clevercat Litter Box
I purchased this litter box because it claims to scatter less litter, however this isn't true for my cat. My 8 lb cat simply jumps out of the box and scatters litter everywhere, much worse then my conventional litter box with flap door. Plus the open whole in the top allows the odor to penetrate multiple rooms even though I scoop it 1-2 times daily. Very dissappointed after paying this much and sadly threw my old litter box away, so this was a VERY expensive mistake!!!
