I tried an imitator product first, wary of spending so much on a pet brush. What I learned was: go with the original! The Furminator REALLY works, and works well. We use it on our retriever and our cats... they love it and so do we! We've loaned ours to several of our friends to try, and they have all subsequently bought their own. By far the best brush any of us have ever used. Great product!

This is a very solid manufactured tool for dog grooming. We have two Goldens; a long haired and a shorter haired. Using the Furminator for the dogs has kept my house seemingly hairball free. Using the fulminator on the longer haired dog is time consuming, however, but effective. It removes hair from their coat an ordinary dog brush would never do.

We are very pleased with the performance of this product. We have a Golden Retriever Mix and he sheds most of the time.. Since using this furminator, Bo looks great and we don't have to sweep the garage floor too often.We highly recommend this product.

I have 3 dogs. Two are huskies. This brush is GREAT. I have never seen so much hair before when I brushed them. Now I don't have to do it all time , just a few times a week is all. Before in the summer it was everyday. LOVE THIS BRUSH.

Bought with hesitation. However, the BEST thing since sliced bread. This tool is awesome. I couldn't believe the hair it got, the reduced hair in the house, and how nice her coat was after using. Highly recommend!!!

This is an exceptional value! These are $80 in the stores. Got the large for a smooth coated German Shepherd. Could have gone with medium, also. Very simple to use, easy to handle, made from sturdy, durable materials. This tool basically pulls the hairs out that are loose and going to be shed. Like running your hands through your hair and having the loose ones come out. It really makes a difference! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I was a little skeptical at first, but my husband was right! This furminator works like a charm! It was easy to use and our dog seemed to like getting her back "scratched". It removed a ton of hair and we are not finding her hair all over the house now. I would highly recommend this to others. It is definitely worth the price.

I have 2 shedders and this works well on both dogs. Their bloodlines can be traced back only 5 minutes as they are mutts -- one is shepherd/collie/pyranees, leaving copious amounts of hair tumbleweeds and tufts. The other is lab/heeler with shorter hair but can still put out an amazing quantity of shed. The teeth are very close together and didn't look long enough to rake out much but I was pleasantly surprised. After brushing, both dogs look sleeker and there is less to clean around the house.
