I ordered 3 of these for my three 65 pound dogs. They love them and the size works for them (Border Collie, Lab & Pit Bull). I put a baby crib sheet over them to help keep them clean, but they wash well. I've used them every day since November and there are no rips or tears. I bought this same bed 3 years ago and just recently threw that one away. It still had no rips or tears, but it was pretty sad looking & faded from probably 100 washing/dryings. If the color had not faded to pink- I would still be using it. I HIGHLY recommend them !Read More
This is the second one I have purchased for the same dog after using the first for several years. The second dog bed came and the first time I washed it ( I wash my dogs bedding once a week), the zipper broke and fell off. Still using bed, and put Velcro at the opening to hold it together. Will not be purchasing another one after this one.Read More
We purchased this bed to replace the one in our bedroom that our dog sleeps on. It seemed thick enough and the size was great. However, it has a plastic lining on it that crunches every time the dog steps on it, which woke us up all night long. We had to return it.Read More
I am about to buy my third one. My dogs love them. I would highly recommend this product.Read More
We have two dogs and three dog beds in our house. This is by far their favorite. It's thick and plush and clearly comfortable for them. One is an older GSD mix and it's thick enough to help her achy joints feel better.Read More
Love this product! Well-made, and exactly as described. Cover is removable (easy off & on!) and washable. Fabric is strong, has a nonskid rubberized bottom, and a luxuriously soft "fur" top. Fits perfectly into a 42" x 28" crate. The only issue is that the "fur" fibers from the top of cover get all over the rest of it when you wash it, so either get a lighter color so it won't show so much, or get a good "miracle" brush to remove it. Don't recommend washing it with other items. My foxhound loves this bed. It's thick, soft, and holds its shape very well. She sinks into it and looks soooo comfortable. She's a rescue dog, and is chronically underweight, so the bed is a real comfort to her bony frame.Read More
This bed is great, it doesn't lose shape and my dog loves it. He digs at some of his other beds before laying down, but this one he just falls onto and doesn't move. I love that the cover zips on and off which makes it easy to wash and it fits perfectly in his crate. My dog loves to hang right by my side when I am home. I could do laps through the house and he would be right there beside me. One of the only times that he will leave me is if I am watching tv downstairs and his dog bed is upstairs in his crate. I will go check to see what he is up to and find him hanging out on his dog bed. Apparently the one downstairs in the basement just isn't good enough now that he has his Armarkat bed. I just may have to purchase one or two more.Read More
This bed is great, especially for the price. Our black lab loves it and often chooses this over our bed at night. He is a chewer, so we watch him closely during waking hours around the bed but at night it has not been a problem at all. We've taken the bed camping and haven't had any problems. The cover can be removed for washing if needed.Read More
The bed is large and ssoft and my dog loves it. In the mornings we'll both get up and start the day but half an hour later I find him back in his bed. The is a great bed for a low price.Read More
I bought 2 of these dog beds several years ago. I was surprised that the bed was actually 2 pillows sewn together, but it hasn't been an issue at all. The cover is so soft and I love the traction on the bottom. The zipper could be a little heavier, but so far so good. After 3 years, the bed still hasn't flattened out and is holding up very well. Each time it's washed, fibers from the top get all over the rest of the bed and it's quite a chore to clean it all up, so don't wash it with anything else you don't want covered with cream colored fuzz. It must be very comfortable because the dogs use it often and have to beat the cat to it or he will take it over. Overall I found this product to be very durable and comfortable for the money. A choice of colors would be nice.Read More

Best Pet Beds for Your Pet
When you bring a new pet home, you'll want to give him a cozy pet bed to curl up in at the end of the day. Pet beds come in different sizes and shapes for different types and sizes of pets. Most popular for dogs and cats, pet beds give you a good way to keep your furry friend from sleeping on your furniture. It's important to choose pet supplies that meet your pet's needs. The pet bed you choose should provide support, security, and comfort for your dog or cat, so choose one that is right for your pet's sleeping habits and for his breed. The following list of pet bed types can help you find the right bed for you and your pet companion.
How to Choose a Pet Bed
Did you know that cats sleep an average of 16 hours a day and dogs are close behind! This makes choosing the right pet bed for your furry friend extremely important. With all those hours of cat (or dog) naps, you'll want them to be as comfortable as possible. Different animals have different needs, and no pet bed is a one-size-fits-all design. Here is how to find the right one for Fluffy or Fido.
How to Keep Pet Beds Fresh
They may be cute, but your furry friends can get pretty dirty and smelly without the proper care, and so can the beds they sleep in. Your pets spend a considerable amount of time snoozing away every day, and their beds take the toll. Learn how to deodorize, clean, and help prevent odor in pet beds with these easy tips. After all, a healthy pet is a happy pet.
How to Choose a Pet Bed for an Older Dog
Pamper your older dog with his own dog bed. Pet beds provide your pets with a safe, comfortable place to sleep and rest, which is especially important for older pets. Most dogs love to curl up on a soft bed -- especially if that bed happens to be yours. Climbing in and out of your high bed, however, can cause your old buddy great pain. Coax him off your bed and reward him for his years of loyalty by choosing a high-quality pet bed that will soothe his tired bones during his golden years.
Best Places in Your Home for a Dog Bed
You want to give your dog the best, and a cozy pet bed can make him feel comfortable and loved in your home. Dogs sleep in their pet beds at night as well as for naps throughout the day. Giving him a comfortable bed to relax in is only part of making him feel at home, however. Finding the right spot for your dog's bed is just as important as finding the right bed to start with. You may even need several pet beds throughout your home. Buy a dog bed for each of these places in your home to maximize your canine's comfort.
How to Clean a Large Dog Bed
The biggest pups need a comfortable large dog bed to accommodate their size when nap time rolls around. Large dog beds can be cumbersome, however, especially when you need to clean them. Whether you're cleaning off fur and muddy paw prints or deep urine stains, properly cleaning pet beds can keep you and your furry friend happy and healthy.

Smaller dogs and puppies may get lost in a bed designed for a larger dog, and may not even sleep on it at all. When you're shopping for pet beds for your little dog, you'll want to consider these tips.
Bed Pillows vs Throw Pillows
Dress up your bed with both throw pillows and bed pillows for a cozy, relaxing spot. While down bed pillows are functional and provide support and comfort for the sleeper, throw pillows serve as accents, adding texture and color to the bed. This guide will help you find both bed pillows and decorative throw pillows and determine the features of each.
How To Make a Dog Bed
Do you want to give your pet something fun to nap on? Then this is the project for you. The vintage fabrics used in this pet bed prove that your dog doesn't have to be dull. This project also uses sturdy upholstery-grade fabric that will stand up to years of use. Best Materials for Shams
One type of bedding that every bed requires is shams. Shams can refer to either the large decorative pillow that frames a made bed or the special pillow cover that encases it. Sham pillows, covers and other pillowcases are essential to keeping your bed a comfortable and clean place to rest, especially if you prefer to sleep on more than one pillow. Decorative shams also add style and class to your bed. Of course, style and comfort are relative, so it's nice to know that shams are available in a variety of materials, styles and colors. If you're shopping for pillowcases but don't know what type will work best for you, don't fret. Keep reading to learn about the best materials for shams.
How to Clean Bed Comforters
Bed comforters are notoriously difficult to clean at home because of their bulk and weight. Most bed comforters are quilted and drop at least 15 inches over the sides and foot of the bed. These should be cleaned thoroughly once every three months, and large comforters may need to be dry-cleaned. However, many comforter sets can be cleaned at home if you have the right equipment. Take a look below to learn how to clean bed comforters.

Top 5 Places to Put Cat Beds

How to Fit Queen Beds in Small Spaces
Ideal for guest rooms or additional bedrooms, queen beds measure 60 inches wide and 80 inches long. For a couple, a queen bed provides about 30 inches of space per person. Larger and more comfortable than double or full beds, queen beds occupy less space than king beds. This makes them a great choice for bedrooms with space limitations. Knowing how to select queen beds and fit them in small spaces enables you to maximize their potential and your available floor space. Look below to learn how to fit queen beds in small spaces.
Best Reasons to Have a California King Bed
Similar in size to a standard king bed, a California king bed is four inches longer, allowing a lot of extra room top to bottom. A California king bed measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long, and a standard king mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long, so while a California king mattress is four inches longer, it is also about four inches thinner than a standard king bed. Making a decision between the two might be difficult. Ultimately, both are great options, but there are a few conditions that might make a California king size bed the clear choice. Before you pick which king mattress is right for you, here are a few of the best reasons to choose a California king bed.
How to Clean Foam Mattresses
Foam mattresses can range in design from luxurious and thick memory foam beds to roughly-cut slabs of camping foam. Even some pet beds are made with foam.
