Unfortunatelly not working
I tested the Koolatron Dog Off Trainer and have to report that it does not work on my dogs. Well, it could be just my dogs, but I have been reading up on this device too late. Most, when not all reviews show that this device gets outbarked by dogs. I wish it would work but I found that a simple water spritz bottle does the trick for my dogs now.

Mediocre performance
OK, this is a humane way to discipline a dog. It made alllllmost no difference with my 8-month-old Doberman pup. She's stubborn and strong, used to getting her way. The noise was clearly audible, but only a distraction. My mother suggested keeping around a soda can with a bunch of coins in it, shaking that when she acts out. That would work as well, but would be irritating to MY ears, too. Is this gadget worth the money? I guess it depends on how many coins you put in the soda can, and how hard-headed your dog is.
