    This is a great product and once my dog gets over the nylon feel/sound under his paws, I think he will really enjoy it. When i can coax him onto it, he sacks out and is very comfortable.

  • Eventually It Will Leak

    They always end up leaking. I have purchased several large Cool Beds over the last few years. At first I thought it was something that I was doing but then I realized, No. I have kept them covered, never move them, my dogs don't jump on them or chew them. They just start to leak in several months. K&H is great about replacing them (you have 2 years to do so) but it really is inconvenient. I've had a would floor have water damaged even though I put a plastic liner under the bed. For the last replacement I received last fall I purchased plastic crate trays to protect the floor. I just looked under one of them and found dampness and mold. I even had a foam bed on top because it was winter so there is know way a dog nail could have punctured it. I am done with Cool Beds.

    I bought this product and my dog admittedly did like to use it. I had to drain the bed however to move and when I did the foam tore easily during the process from lifting the mat with the wet foam. I contacted support and they let me know that this is a common occurrence if you pick the bed up in the wrong manner. So...picking the bed up once which results in the foam tearing apparently isnt a manufacturer defect? Give me a break. I dont understand why there is no method to "seal" the foam to the corners so it doesnt get out of place so easily. I wouldnt buy this product unless you plan to never move it once it is filled with water. Once the foam gets out of place it is incredibly difficult to get it back in to place and that is only if you get lucky and it doesnt tear during the process.

  • FANTASTIC FOR THOSE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

    I have 2 dogs and live where temperatures get up above 100 for weeks at a time. I have to keep the darlings outside, so I needed to find a way to keep them cool. These have been great so far. We have not yet hit the highs of the summer, but the dogs are not panting as much when I get home from work. They are more relaxed, and don't fuss as much about being put outside, so they must approve as well.
