Its not for a dog over about 8 pounds and if you use it for a dog larger than that you better use extra support so your dog doesn't bust out.

My pomeranian really likes hers, as do I. The only downfall is that the carrier doesn't have a hole for her tail! Luckily, she doesn't seem to mind and is a lot easier to carry around, along with my other dog.
This is a joke....description is not even closed to the product. So much smaller than it's described. It should have been described to be used on "Tea Cup Dogs" only.
My dog is well under 12 lbs. The bag that arrived is more for a dog that is 5 lbs or under. The bag is cheaply made and looks like something I could buy at a swap meet for $10.00. I'm now stuck with it because it's apparently non-returnable. What a waste of $**
We call this the dog torture device...because the dog looks so miserable in it -- however I find it to be quite fun and laugh and laugh! You will be amused.
Holds a small dog. If our min pin gets any fatter, it will be too small. Like the safety clip. Comfortable to wear. Take the dog on my Harley without any problems.
I tried many alternatives to carry my new puppy. My baby puppy cried too much when I tried the back back pack and he wouldn't stay in a carry pouch. I needed something to carry my puppy and have hands free to shop or go walking or do household chores. I tried this front back pack and my puppy was quiet , calm and so well behaved. I can carry him anywhere. People think it is so cute and ask where they can get one. The only slighty improvement I would like is to have a soft cushion made of lambs wool on the surrounding edges of the leg supports as the main weight is around this area. All in all I would recommend it to all my friends.
