This heated is rather short in size (for the watts), but keeps my tanks tempature right where I need it, 84degrees. Now I use three to keep I there on 180 gallon tank. These are great heaters for the price. Would buy more if they where in stock.

    I ordered three of these and I have tanks in my garage. I used two immediately. Holding temps just fine works as expected. Only knock was shipping they sent it in a soft bag no bubble wrap so lucky they didn't break. You'd think they would do a better job packing breakables.

  • I have a 5 gallon Marineland Hex tank with a Betta in it that I need a heater in. Will this be ok or will it be too big? Non adjustable heaters keep the water too cold.
