the product does not hold up. Any dog that is an avid "chewer" will have the stuffing out of this item within 30 mins. My 20# Puggle got the seam apart and had stuffing all over the house - within minutes of playing with it for the first time.Cute in appearance, but not durable. Too expensive for a half hour of playtime.

I purchased some chew toys for my newly-adopted 15 month old Golden Retriever from the local big box pet store, and they were shredded within a couple of hours. Who knew that Overstock would have a pet toy section?! So I ordered the Hyper Gnaws boomerang and big bone style. Yes they are more expensive than the ones that were trashed after a couple of hours, but two weeks later they are still in great shape! Plus they are light weight, easy to hold and toss, and the sturdy fabric shows no signs of tearing or ripping, yet. Haven't tried washing them yet because I don't want to stretch my luck, but so far, so great!
