having several cats they like to play and go nuts,with this condo tree everything fit good well made no missimg parts easy to put to gether what more for the price! im happy all cats are happy watching them in it is a blast!

I bought several cat trees at the same time. I purchased this one because it has 3 baskets. My foster cats were always in the basket of a previous scratcher so I thought getting one with multiple baskets would allow more cats to enjoy the baskets. Assembling this one was more time consuming and difficult than assembling any of the others. After assembling the cat tree I put it in front of their favorite sunny picture window. When the first cat jumped on it, it wobbled and leaned. This one has a brace that attaches to the ceiling. The brace is covered in fur so it is slippery and does not stay in place very well. Eventually I wound up moving it so that I could prop it up against the wall. With the help of the wall it is stable enough for them to use but now does not overlook the yard. The faux fur that is in one of the hidey-holes has already been shredded because there is not a liner in the hole. I won't buy another Cat Scratcher made by this manufacturer. I wish I had read the reviews instead of just looking at the rating. Today I noticed that many people said it was unstable. Those people gave it 4 stars. Why would you rate a cat tree with 4 stars if the darn thing is unstable?

The instructions were virtually non-existant and the parts were not labeled in any way. Thus, after a mistake that cost me an hour and having to take it all apart to start over, I got the tree up in a reasonable amount of time. I don't like that it is not terribly sturdy, although it does attach to the ceiling, it comes loose with use by my cats. I found that it came loose from the ceiling in about a week of use and some of the parts that screw together are coming loose, too. The cats absolutely love the material and the scooped beds (they are not big enough for my 17# kitties though, they spill over the edges) and the little houses are not too popular as they are small and have 2 posts in each which hold the structure together making them even smaller. So, it was a good purchase bcause my 6 cats needed something but the quality isn';t too great. I am afraid the scoop beds will break under their weight which will be a nightmare to replace as I'll have to take apart half the tree to fix them. I'd buy it if you can get a great deal.
