Good buy
from Mechanicsburg, PA,  Sep 19, 2006

I bought 2 of these for my 2 labs. I was hoping to put one upstairs and one down for them to share but the beds were not as big as I thought they'd be based on dimensions. However, I have an 85lb black lab and he loves the bed so it is by no means a small bed. The size is actually perfect because it's big enough for them to curl up in but doesn't take up a ton of room and they're easy to move around. I love the look of them for my family room and the dogs absolutely love that they can cuddle into the backs, like their own little couch.

A Review by the Dog
from Portland, OR,  May 3, 2008

My name is Bailey and I am a 9-1/2 yr old Standard Schnauzer. My humans bought this bed for me and I absolutely love it! I'm a medium size guy (approx 22" tall from the shoulders, approx 25" in length from the base of my neck to the base of my tail and approx 50-55 # in weight) and it is the perfect size bed for me: I can curl up and sleep or stretch out some and sleep! It's very cooshie and the padding in it doesn't seem to bunch up. I especially like the big padded bolster to rest my head on (we Schnauzers love to rest our chins on things). My humans like the fact that it doesn't show the dirt as much, because I like to roll around on it and you know how other beds can get when you do that. The only thing that my humans don't really like is that when I dig at my bed to get it just right before laying down, I can actually make the sherpa fabric pill (personally I think those little fur balls are kind of fun, but my Mom thinks they make her floors messy). As far as the value/price goes, I know my humas really thought that it was a bargain - most of the other beds like this that they'd looked at were $100+...and I think that is probably like a thousand doggie treats if I were to calculate it out.

good dog bed
from Houston, TX,  Aug 5, 2009

The bed is very comfy and my dog loves it. However the stuffing inside is not very high quality. There is a large indentation in my pup's favorite spot. I am going to replace the stuffing with foam in a few months. The bolster is fleece, not dark brown as appears int he pic, but not a problem for me. Overall this bed is an adequate bed, however I wish it was stuffed with something that was a little more strurdy.

Sleeping dogs ...
from Cali Girl,  May 5, 2008

My dog is a german shep mix. She is about 39 inches long and 75lbs. THIS BED IS PERFECT for her. She sleeps all night long and it is almost cured her snoring. Because of the design on the bed her neck is never awkward and therefore she can sleep sound. I need to order two because she refuses to be in a room without it!

Just Okay.......
 from NY,  Nov 5, 2007

I thought the bed was larger than it actually was, but that was my fault not measuring correctly. My dog seems to somewhat like it, she snuggles in there, but it's too small for a Boxer. I DON'T like the fact that you can't take the cover off & wash it, you have to wash the entire bed which is too big for a regular at home washing machine. Probably will be good for a few months, but after time I think it will need to be replaced due to the material fuzzy stuff coming off & in time it will need to be "washed". I think you're better off buying a bed with a removal cover. Due to the weight, didn't pay to ship it back.

My dog loves this
from Cincinnati, OH,  Apr 18, 2007

My dog loves this bed - and she never likes any dog type of object - she is white - so the obvious hair is not an issue - so far no issue with shedding of material or dirt showing. Am buying a second one for upstairs.

Hill and Dale Dog Bed
from Oxford, North Carolina,  Mar 26, 2007

The only problem I have with this bed is the fact that the plush fabric is continuing to come off. It's all over the rug! I've tried to use a lint roller as well as vacuuming it throughly to no avail. I hope, eventually, that this will stop. Otherwise, my greyhound loves it! I know he is enjoying the bolster back. He has actually started sleeping through the night in his own bed! Thanks for making this product available at overstock.com.

Great beds!
from Bowling Green, KY,  Mar 22, 2007

We bought these for our two Bullmastiffs. They both LOVE the bolsters to rest their heads on. From the first day we opened them up, they've shunned their more expensive memory foam beds. The only drawbacks are that the covering is white, which shows dirt very easily, and it sheds quite easily. They should last about 6 months.

5 stars
from San Fracisco Bay Area, CA,  Feb 3, 2010

I purchased two of the bolster beds for our 60-lb Lab-mixes. I was very pleased with the generous size. The beds were exactly as they were described. They were very puffy for the first couple of days, but have flattened out after some use. The dogs love them. I had been searching for the bolster style because our dogs loved sleeping in our recliners, so I thought a bolster bed might be a good substitute. Most were way too expensive. These beds are a great buy!

Not fit for a Vizsla
from Southern New Jersey,  May 31, 2009

Picture shows bolster backing in micro-fiber, however ours was fleece... our Vizsla had holes in the fleece within moments of taking it out of the box. Generally good, but the fleece is NOT durable at all. Microfiber is fine and looks nice. Good amount of stuffing for a 50 lb dog. He sleeps on it, but we have to flip it over or cover it with a blanket to prevent him from shredding the fleece and pulling out all of the stuffing.

great bed, dogs love it!
from Plainville, CT,  Apr 28, 2009

I purchased this bed for my 5 month old puppy but my 2 year old setter is trying to claim it for himself. The dogs love it and look very comfortable in it. The only problem is that I might have to buy another one so they don't fight over it. I have only had it for a few weeks but it looks very durable.

Microfiber Bolster Bed
 from TX,  Dec 6, 2008

My 50 pound pointer mix loves this bed. She chooses it over all of her other beds in the house. It has been difficult to get her out of it to join us in our bedroom at night. The bed is holding up well so far with no signs of wear.

Dog bed

My dog and my son love this bed. The only thing not pictured that was different is that the white part is not white it has a little brown mixed in. 60lb dog and child both sleep in it.

GREAT BED FOR A GREAT PRICE
 from baltimore,  Sep 4, 2008

This bed is used for our 75lb lab and our little French Bulldog loves it also. We love the bed! The durability is great because sometimes the lab gets anxious. The stuffing is all in tact.. and usually by this time with other beds, they are ruined. GREAT BUY!

Dogs love it!
from South Jersey,  Jun 24, 2008

So cushiony my son wants to curl up on it too! Great dog bed ... especially for the price. It's pretty big... although our little beagle loves it, it was meant for our growing lab mix puppy!

Love it
from Chicago, IL,  Jun 17, 2008

My little monster LOVES IT. I was jealous because it's more comfortable than my bed. She sleeps on it every chance that she gets. It's SO thick, and well made, and the fleece is really nice. It will be amazing for the winter. Not a single complaint here. If you want your dog to be a prince or a princess, Purchase this bed!!!! I have bought her a couple over a couple of years, because they get so smashed. But this bed....I can't see doing this. It's huge!
