This heated cat napper heats up to a low constant temperature. There is no danger of it being too hot. Kitties like to sleep here in the cold New York winters. Takes the chill off for them and I believe it is safe for them to lay on. I would recommend this to anyone with a cold kitty or an aging pet. It is probably big enough for a chihuahua or other toy dog as well.

Keeps the dog bed warm and is well made but the cover comes off easily. The cats try to sleep on it too. It will help keep our older dachshund warm at night.

We have an outdoor cat that lives in our garage. She has a bed, blankets, etc. and absolutely loves this mat. It was the perfect buy and for a great price.

My 14-year-old arthritic cat needed a heating pad to get her through the coming winter. She's large and isn't so fond of cat beds, so this large heated mat suits her perfectly. She can stretch out on her side for maximum contact with the pad. Since no one is home all day, I was concerned about leaving a heating pad plugged in, but this one barely feels warm unless the cat is laying on it, and then it feels toasty underneath her. Plus Overstock's price was $10 less than the pet store. Maggie the cat gives this pad a thumbs up!

I'VE RECOMMENDED THE HEATED PET MAT TO A NUMBER OF FRIENDS WITH AGING ANIMALS. THEY SEE HOW COMFORTABLE MY CAT IS AND PLAN ON MAKING PURCHASES.

This heating pad is just perfect to put in the bottom of a dog bed, making it a comfy bed for any dog. It's not too hot and doesn't feel warm until you put that pillow over it, let it sit a while and wow!, it is so perfect. My cats have discovered it so I just let them sleep in it until I'm ready to put the pug to bed, then she has a ready-heated bed.

This heated pet mat is very soft with a short nap on one side and soft and smooth on the other. I got this for my 15 year old cat because he has arthritis and I thought it would help him. He loves it! It does not feel too hot when I put my hand on it and I leave it plugged in all the time without worry. I like how there is a zippered side so you can take the cover off and wash it if it gets too dirty to spot clean. If you have two cats, you will need two. My cat is only 7lbs and there is no room for his brother.

I purchased two of these. The tabby cat just loves it and the Siamese cat enjoys it when she thinks no humans are around (finicky cat). The actual heating pad is a few inches narrower than the outer cover, that way the cat can still be on the padding but not on top of the heating element. The beds warm up to provide great comfort for my cats but not too warm to worry over. The covers are easily removed for cleaning, just vacuum off the excess cat hair and into the washing machine.

We just got a new cat and she sleeps on the one side of the house that tends to be a bit more chilly than the other. I bought her this mat to go inside her bed. She really seems to like it. I leave it plugged in all the time so when she is ready for a nap, she can climb in and the mat heats up. So far the mat seems to work very well and spot cleans easily. The only negative is that I do wish it had a longer chord. I was limited on where I could place it based on that.

for the cost, this should have had an on/off switch

This coming March, my cat will be fourteen years old, and she took to this heat pad right away----as if she were waiting all this time just for its arrival.

good for oler dog with arithritis who hates being indoors and bugs us all to go out when we bring her in. She lays on her warm bed all day and has learned to unplug it with her paw when it is too much. I appreciate feeling less sadness over her insisting on being outside on colder nights. It seems to really be doing the trick on her sore hips. Good purchase.

My dog is loving this VERY MUCH!!! Especially since we are now entering our 3rd 'Polar Vortex' with below zero temps. The only thing I dislike is that there is no on/off switch. It just plugs in. Other than that, I highly recommend. I am thinking about getting another one for his other fave spot at his Mimi's :-) !!

My cat just loves her heated mat. She's getting up there in age and I guess the added heat feels good on her old bones. No batteries to mess with just plug it in and your done...I love it too.

I bought two of these, one for cat and one for dogs. Both loved the warmth and slept daily on them.

Plugged it in & put it inside a little igloo for my outdoor kitty. She LOVES it. It's cold outside!

This is a great heater. Works well for my outside dogs in their enclosure. Heats up well but not too much, and it's safe. The item was delivered promptly and well packaged. I'd recommend the lectro-kennel pad.

My kitty loves this even though I had doubts at first. When I want to find her, I know where to look - her pet mat in the bedroom! The price was very cheap compared to the retail stores pricing on this item. Thanks )!!

great mat!! Our cats took right to it and they love it. The mat does just what it says and now our two cats lay on the mat all day and not under the covers of our bed.

Unlike climate-control appliances of the past, most of today's air purifiers are quiet and energy efficient. Refresh your home's environment with air purifiers. There are several cleaning methods available; most air purifiers use filters or electronic precipitators. This air purifier buying guide explains the options.
