Would love to find a replacement!
from Berkshire County, MA,  Jun 20, 2011

My collie adored this bed to death...literally. He managed to dig a hole in it within the first two weeks, but loved the size and the support of the bolsters. He also entertained himself greatly pulling out the stuffing. Sigh. If the fabric on the bed were more durable, I would LOVE to replace it with another. No other beds seem to have bolsters like these, and the cushioning, prior to disembowelment, was excellent.

green plaud/ large poly /sherpa bolster bed
from New Albany, Indiana,  Dec 19, 2009

These are my third and fourth meds to purchase. I am buying to take to my new house. The dogs love them and race to get to the one in the bedroom. I have two very large german sherpards. My one dog had a bladder infection and started peeing in the bad, The outside washes fine, but the inside cover doesn't do so well in a regular washer, So, the filling in now stuffed in zipper pillow cases. I learned my lesson on that one.

Best Price!
from Denver, CO,  Dec 17, 2009

I have been shopping around for a large dog bolster bed and every where I looked the prices started at $60. I saw the price on this one and it totally sold me! When the box arrived, my puppy was scared of it because it was so large. Once I set it up and got her acquainted with it, she became more comfortable with it. She does not use it as much as I thought she would, but at least uses it for a few hours during the night. It is my fault for spoiling her with allowing her on the couch and in these cold nights she enjoys laying by the heating vent.I would strongly recommend this dog bed to owners of a large dogs who are looking for a bolster bed.

Dog bed
from West Chester, PA,  Dec 1, 2009

This is the third such dog bed I've gotten from Over Stock, and my experience each and every time has been satisfying, from the use of the website to the delivery of the bed itself. Even the dog likes it.

Comfortable beds
from Richmond, VA,  Sep 15, 2009

We recently purchased 3 green plaid large poly/sherpa bolster beds for our greyhounds. The bolster is plaid also. They have enjoyed the size and the fluffiness. Unfortunately, one of our princesses got very excited and pulled a bed across the floor . A small rip resulted on the bolster, but I sewed it. Overall, we are very pleased!!

Comfy bed for discerning doggie
Anonymous  from north of Boston,  Aug 10, 2009

My people just got me a new bed! I was very excited because my old bed was lumpy and not comfortable anymore. The people call me things like "fussy" and "spoiled" and "her highness" but I'm a retired racing greyhound so I'm used to a certain standard of comfort, and greyhounds have so little body fat and not much fur, so we need lots of soft padding. This is a nice big bed. It has lots of room for me to curl up or stretch out, whichever I'm feeling like. My people know that I like things with texture like rugs and towels, so I guess that's why they picked this bed. It's also very squishy because it has lots of soft stuffing. I almost have to step up to get on it, but I have such long legs that it's not a problem. The bed in the picture has the nubby fabric on the bolster part, but the one that came to our house in the big box has the plaid fabric on that part. I don't care, it's still just as comfy when I rest my head on it, but I thought I should mention it. Retirement is great. I'm lucky to have people who take such good care of me.

beautiful bed
 Jul 18, 2009

This bed is great, other then it is not easy to wash. The bolster is filled with loose stuffing that has to be completely pulled out and then re-stuffed back in. I finally just took out the bolster filling and threw it away and will get some batting to roll and replace it. It is very cushy and my lab love is.

Large Pet Bed
from Tulsa, OK,  Jul 5, 2009

I bought two of these Poly/Sherpa Bolster Beds for our American Bulldogs. The female bulldog is about 57 pounds & the male is about 68 pounds & these beds are a great fit. They claimed the beds as soon as I had them out of the box. The stiching on one of the beds wasn't complete so I did a quick re-pair before they torn it up but all in all, a great purchase for the price. The two dogs love to lounge so the "head rest" has just won them over. I haven't washed them yet so don't know how it'll hold up for that.

Do not buy
from Indianapolis, IN,  Mar 30, 2009

I have an 11 year old Lab who doesn't do much more than eat and sleep. This bed was extremely overfilled and already has seams that have split all around the bolster in several places. Have had it about a month. My dog is not active and does not chew, scratch, etc. I love Overstock and shop often, but this truly was a disappointment and poor quality product.

Great Beds
from Emmett, Idaho,  Mar 14, 2009

We have two dogs, a cocker spaniel and a blue heeler, both love these beds and the cat competes for whichever one is empty. They are full and plush. The only problem is the sherpa pills and sheds. Otherwise you won't find these nice of dog beds anywhere for this price.

Puppy Bed

This is a great bed for the price. It is overstuffed and great for a big dog. The cover is removable so it can be easily washed. Your dog will love it.

comfy!
from New Jersey,  Jan 9, 2009

Our dog loves this bed and has to be coaxed out of it for his morning walk, especially on cold winter mornings. The fleece sheds a bit when it's new, but settles down after a bit.

MINE
 from Ohio,  Jul 30, 2008

All my dogs really like this bed and want to claim it, as soon as one gets off another gets on it - if I move it to another room they are worried about where it is going. My only complain was that when it was washed the filling in the bolster came out and it had to be restuffed.

It's Great
from St. Pete, FL,  Jan 5, 2008

Although it is taking my dogs a while to get used to having their own doggie bed, when they do get onto the bed they seem to really enjoy it. And the price was just right, compared to all the other websites I have been looking at.

Shreds after you wash
from Austin, TX,  Apr 18, 2007

I bought this for my dog because he loves the bumper beds. After washing it twice the stitching started to rip. I have had to sew it several times and finally resorted to holding it together with safety pins. The sherpa top also bunched and lost its softness quicker than I thought it would.

POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP
 Jan 17, 2007

HAVING THIS BED LESS THAN ONE (1) MONTH, THE STITCHING IS COMMING APART, AND IT HAS NOT YET BEEN PUT THROUGH THE WASHING MACHINE. THE MATERIAL IS THIN AND OVERALL CONSTRUCTION IS NOT THE BEST OF QUALITY.
