After four years, we needed to get a new cat condo/scratcher for our four year old cat. For the price the quality is good. There are several scratching posts which our cat has already started to use. On the top level there was a toy that was attached, it last maybe day until my cat ripped it off. The website image shows that there is enough foot room on the second level even with the condo attached. However, this was not the case. Because of the lack of foot room, our cat could not hop up onto the third level. We eventually removed the third level so our cat could at least climb onto to of the condo to look out the window. The overall sturdiness is excellent especially the condo. The condo has plenty of room so that my cat can maneuver around the inside.Read More
We re-arranged some furniture and our cats lost their way to look out the window at the birds. I have a corner with two windows and needed something with some height to get them high enough. Very sturdy. We have a 12 lb cat and a 9 lb cat and they both like to sit on top and watch the birds. The neutral color looks good in our room as well. Very happy with the purchase.Read More
The cat tree was easy to assemble and sol, cushy. Our cat immediately sat on the top pat and played with the mouse. She doesn't use it every day except for scratching and I have to think that is saving the furniture. But on a sunny day, when I put it in the window she likes to take a nap there. I've never seen her jump up to the top, but she jumps up to the top of the refrigerator, so I guess she can make it! Well-made, nice and high, variety of things to play on. Now flimsy as other products elsewhere were described; will not tip over when she jumps to the top.Read More
The quality is pretty good- fairly sturdy. It looks nice in a room with the neutral colors- easy to blend into background. The platform on top and the house to climb into are fairly small. My cats are 6 and 8 pounds and it is OK for them. It would never have worked for my previous, much larger cats, particularly the top 'look-out' platform. I had to add additional cushioning in the house (cut up a carpet pad) and now they like it more. It was fairly hard to lie on before then. They love the attached toy.Read More
Unit is made from a very sturdy particle board and not actual wood... The "carpet" that is on the whole unit is a furry synthetic fuzzy fabric. The dimentions listed about the products size are correct. Measure before you buy it so you know it will fix where you want it. The color is perfect for the corner and isn't much of a distraction in my living room. directions are super easy to follow (A goes to B to part C).. unit after being put together is very sturdy and doesn't seem to be of any less quality as one bought from PetSmart. Although this is about 45% cheaper and instead of carpet its a tuff fabric.. My cat is about 14 pounds and her fat butt LOVES her new tree and she fits in it without trouble.Read More
After pricing several cat stands locally I realized that they were extremely over priced and unattracitve. When looking Online I found Overstock.com to be by far the best deal with shipping at 2.95. This cat stand was easy to put together, sturdy, plush and very attractive. Our 6 month cat fits inside the little house portion with plenty of room to grow. I've seen many cat stands over my years of owning cats and this is by far the best. It is much more attractive than those at the local Costco, Petsmart and Petco. This cat stand is something you can have in an living room or bedroom and it looks nice, not cheap and obnoxious like many stands do. My favorite part of this stand is that is is plush in a soft gold color with plenty of scratching areas for a cat. The little house with the lookout tower and the paw print on the bottom give it character. Also, it doesn't take up too much space and is very well balanced. No tipping over and it's not top heavy like many are. I HIGHLY recommend this stand! Way to go Overstock! 5 stars:)Read More
CoCo absolutly loves this kitty condo. She was always sleeping on the tiny ledge in our front window bathing in the morning sun. Now she can curl up at the top of this very sturdy kitty condo and enjoy her mornings. She is a 14 lb cat and this product can take her size and weight. It also is a nutural color and blends in well with our decor.Read More
My 14 pound cat likes this item. She was very interested in it even before I put it together. The house is a little small for my fat cat. She can lay in it with half her body sticking out but can not curl up in it. She likes it.Read More
easy to assemble, could be more helpful with written instuct along with pics you had to guess one thing. not too hard though. i think its more for kittens ,though ,because ledges arent wide and with big cats you have to lift them up .also little house is small. it should really state for kittens.but its cute ,comfy looking .but my big cats give it one thumb up and one thumb down.Read More
I have an average/large adult male cat and he fits in this with no problem. It's very sturdy and easy and quick to set up. It's a very neutral color that blends in with the rest of my living room. Anyway, my cat is crawling all over it as I write this review and having a great time!Read More
