Disappointed I bought this item for my kitty, who is approximately 10-12 lbs. She loves it, but she is too big for the ledge and barely fits under the arch. I was really disappointed with the scratching post; it continues to come loose from its base and falls to the right or left. We will have to brace the post in order for it to last. Although, kitty is having lots of fun with it, it wasn't worth the money spent.

Not sturdy at all! I wish I had read the reviews on this before buying it. I agree with the previous reviewer-definitely not for adult cats. The post is made out of some sort of soft compressed wood so it will not stay screwed into the post. At least my cat likes playing with the balls and the scratching bridge.

Fell apart It fell apart the first day we had it, my older cat that is probably 8-10 lbs sat on the ledge and it broke. My husband fixed it and mounted it on the opposite side and this didn't last long either. It's dissapointing to buy something and it fall apart so easily.

poorly built the post does not sit on the base securely. screw is thick but the wood is super cheap and could not be secured properly. the more our 6 mth kitten played with it the looser it got. now it just leans to the side. Designs looks great, poor quality though. :(
