I like the bed and so does Phil, our 145 pound Great Dane. BUT, it was much thinner that it appears in the photo. Its easy to clean by just vacuuming it which is a bonus. If you have a dog that really requires something with lots of support then this is probably not the right bed. If your pall just needs a soft spot to pass the day then this a great bed for the price.

We ordered this bed in the xtra large size because we needed something that both of our dogs could sleep together on. We have 2 labs that are about 70lbs each and they both fit very comfortably on this with room to spare. As soon as we took it out of the box they knew it was theirs and made themselves very comfortable on it (rolling around on their backs and snorting). There was one review about the cover being punctured by their dogs nail, but we have not run into any issue like this. We have always used a small blanket to cover our dogs' beds b/c it makes it easier to clean and is more comfortable. The only negative I can think of is that I wish the memory foam layer were a little thicker. It only accounts for the top 1" layer which is above the orthopedic foam. The guys don't seem to mind this at all though and they've actually been heading to bed a little earlier these days.

Very impressed after a long search for a bed sturdy and large enough for my 150lb. Great Dane. He loves it. It is plenty big enough for him. It is also very thick. I plan on ordering another one for our downstairs!

This has been a good bed for both of my dogs. I bought it for my 100 lb dane mix. I thought the bed was a bit pricey, but has held up well to multiple washings and lots of dirt over the past year. My dog likes it and it seems very comfortable. All in all, it was worth it.

I guess this would be an okay bed for a large breed dog like a Labrador. It simply not what I was needing for my Great Danes. The mattress is very lightweight and does not give enough support for a giant breed. NOT worth the price!

We got this bed because our large lab has joint issues and had read that a memory foam bed can help. He seems to love it and so does his sister. Like I said we have one large dog and one medium-large dog and they can both be on it. I find it comfortable myself when I want to sit on the floor with them. I have had to clean up throw-up off of it and found it to clean well with sponge and mild detergent, can't see any stains.

The bed is a great size and seems to be well made! I bought this for our new adopted German Shepherd who is 85 pounds! He is liking it and enjoys laying and sleeping on it! (as does my husband who likes to watch TV on it with the dog!!!) I have not yet had to wash the cover as I have used an old sheet over the top to keep it free of debris and dog hair and figure that would be easier to get off and wash.

Our Great Pyr mix weighs 140 lbs. and is nearly as tall as a Great Dane. Due to his stubborn streak, he would NOT get on the bed while I was present for 10 days. I discovered he was using it when I was not looking! He finally gave in and now thoroughly enjoys having his own big bed in the family room. I like the texture and support of this bed for our big guy. This bed should serve him well for years to come.

I thought dogs prefer plush beds? I bought this bed for new puppy and our 4yr old mastif prefers it to the plush one we've had!! Great quality. Foam holding up well . Had bed for several months and the foam has not depressed at all. Would buy again.

My Silver is a 12 1/2 year old greyhound with both back issues and an old neck injury. These types of beds with uniform support (not pillowy / mushy) are best for orthopedic conditions. I was looking for memory foam (what my bed is that she can't get up on any more) plus one that wouldn't start caving in as rapidly as most egg crate foam beds do. Plus wanted a huge size since altho 58 lbs, she likes to spread out flat. This bed is perfect!!! Not even a whisper of a dent in 2 months of continuous use. My initial concern over price has vanished. Now I don't have a heavy dog, nor have I had yet the need to wash the cover, but so far myself and pooch are happy!

My dog loves this bed. He never goes upstairs without us, and now, he runs up and stays on his bed all the time, from the moment we got it. Clearly, he thinks this is pure comfort. It is big enough that he can stretch out and the cover top is nice and soft, and so far holding up to his scratching at it when he nests. It is thick enough that it doesn't sag at all. I am very, very pleased with this and thinking about another!
