Great sturdy steps Nicely made product. It's pretty bulky taking up space, but that what gives it its stability and pretty good size of each step. I would have given it 5 stars but the carpet pieces are permanently attached to the top of each step. For cleaning or replacement purposes, I would prefer not to have the carpet permanently attached.

Beautiful, but hard to put together! I will have to find someone to put the 8 pieces together. I tried to do it myself but because it is so heavy, I cracked one of the panels trying to slip it into the proper groove--horrifying after paying so much. It is well made and pretty, but its weight is problematic if you need to move it, even for vacuuming. If I had to do it again, I would get a somewhat lighter weight staircase and one that is shipped already constructed or, at the least, easier to assemble. The parts are still sitting on my LR floor, disappointed I can't put it together myself.
