Exactly what I ordered and needed This product was exactly what I needed. I moved into a house that did not have a space available for my litter box that was out if sight of company and daily living. I had to put the litter box into my office and didn't want it to be obvious to others. I looked through many websites and pet stores for something but couldn't find anything but the plastic covered litter boxes that look like a litter box. I wanted something that looked nice and still functioned well. I have always had an automatic litter box but the latest one I bought never performed as well as the older models so I found myself always having to hand clean the litter box. When we moved and realized that we needed another option I knew I would be hand cleaning the box. When I found this product it was available from other sites but I could not pass up the price offered along with free shipping. My husband and I put it together in about a half an hour with absolutely no issues. It looked exactly like the picture and the size was perfect. It looks really good in the office and no one notices that it is a litter box. I read some of the other reviews and took some suggestions from other customers. I bought a piece of outdoor carpet and cut it to fit in the small compartment to catch any litter from the paws and a battery operated motion light to stick inside and that really helps when cleaning it too. I also bought some puppy training pads to put under the litter box to help with any spills that might occur. I left the lid open a few days until my cat got used to it. I also kept the other litter box in the room for a few days just to make sure there were no accidents and my cat never used the old one and went right into the new one. This was a great investment and I am so happy with my purchase.

Happy with this product Loved this litter box solution overall, good selection of colors and it's great that you can have the opening on either side. I think it's the best solution out there! My only complaints/improvement suggestions: 1) I wish it were slightly taller. With the cat box inside it, my cat has to crouch down a little to use it. 2) The hinge for the lid doesn't fully extend/open, so you have to slide the litter pan out at a slight angle. If your litter pan is really shallow that might result in dumping the contents all over the inside of the cabinet. Neither of those is a show-stopper, just less than ideal.

not for the average cat I liked this box in the beginning. One of my cats used it and there was no litter on the floor. However when my 2 big guys used it the litter box that fit in the box - a "large" size - was not big enough for them and they peed on the side and it went down onto the wood. Another one of my cats who likes to sit up to use it had to crouch down because it is too short for him. I have to check for urine in the bottom of the box several times a day so it doesn't sit in there and harm the wood. The litter pan is difficult to lift out of the box because the space is so small. One of my cats won't use it at all. I wish it would be big enough to fit in a large or extra large litter box and be about 2 inches taller. I would gladly pay for the extra room . It was easy to assemble and for the price the quality isn't so bad. Just not for a multi cat family or anything bigger than a small average size cat.

NO FOR NORMAL SIZE LITTER BOXES This does not hold a normal litter box size. You have to buy one with smaller sides which in turn leaves more litter to escape. It is much too small for the litter box and a cat to fix at the same time. The height should have been much taller to accommodate the sides of the litter box. This product could have been much better made.

I had to leave out the inner partition because I have a very large litter box for my 4 cats. I will be moving to a larger place in a few months, so i saved that piece so I can use it when I am able to have more than one litter box again and can put a smaller one in this unit for the main floor and a bigger box in the laundry room where nobody will see it.
