Let me begin with the only down side, the instructions are awful. They consisted of two pages, one was a break down of the parts in the box, and the other was a picture of the house once assembled, with a single line in poorly translated English to put together in order. Now! It probably took my hubby almost as long to stop grumbling about it as it did to put it together once he put his mind to it. It took him about 40 minutes, and went fairly speedily after he separated all the parts into like pieces and then looked closely at the picture to match them and put them in the correct order. Many of the pieces were identical, so could be used interchangeably. When I saw it on the site, I thought it looked well made and beautiful. I was a bit worried when I held up the pieces as my hubby put them together, thinking they weren't as sturdy as I thought they were going to be, but once assembled, my worries were non existent. Like others, I have one very big cat, and this tree house has turned him into a kitten, and when he starts swinging around like a monkey, the entire tree does sway. But I don't think it's possible to topple it over, or he would have done it by now. All three of my cats and my foster cats, all of which are adults, love this addition to our home. It provides hiding spots, sleeping spots and plenty of playing potential! I really thought that the mice would be destroyed immediately from reading all of the other reviews. But surprisingly, despite the work out that they're getting, my cats haven't destroyed one yet, so don't hesitate to add them to the house when you build it. I even had a cat catch it and swing from it as he tried to take it off the house with him as he jumped. They're tougher than they look. For this price, and shipping for $3 or less, you really can't go wrong with this purchase. I think that any budget household, would be glad they saved their pennies for this addition to their home. The entertainment value of watching the cats play makes up for it pretty quickly!

I think it is important to know what you are getting here. The price is the best feature of this unit. What you are getting for that price is: * Cardboard tubes wrapped in rope provide the supports for this structure. My cats LOVE being able to scratch at any level. * The platforms and the condos are covered in faux fur fabric - not carpet. I do not know how long that will last. * The small platform was unstable for any of my 3 cats which range from 7 to 14 pounds. I had to add wood planks from the platform on the right to the top of the small condo to add the stability needed. * The added planks were also useful in providing a platform from which to jump to the large condo area. * I expect the dangling toys will not last long so I thought it was a non-issue since they can be purchased easily and are very inexpensive. * I had to add cushion inside the condo as the fabric that covers the pressed wood is very thin. Overall, it is not a bad unit. I just believe I will have to do some work on it in the future (adding carpet where fabric may fail).

My cats love it. the only thing I see is it could have been built just a little heavyer duty. I have 2 cats and they are full grown and they can get it swaying pretty good. But it holds up to the pounding they are giving it. I would recommend it to anyone who has cats and is worth every penny. My cats are indoor cats and they need plenty to keep there attention and the condo does that for them.

This product was not that difficult to put together, but I wish it were sturdier. I have it in a corner and I don't think it would fall over but my cats seem a little nervous when it wobbles. I have two cats, both around 7 years old and both weighing about 20 pounds. While I think this Cat Tree would be awesome for younger, smaller cats, there does not seem to be enough room for my cats to stretch out. There is also no good platform to get to the level with the big condo, so one of my cats will jump from the ground to this level and will relax in the large condo, but he does not use any of the other levels. The highest levels are too small for my big cats. I have not seen my larger cat on this cat tree at all. I think this is a good product, but its design is not ideal for very large cats.

The condo was easy to put together. The large house was purfect for my hefty 11 lb cat. However, the condo is not sturdy and very shaky. The scratch post diameters are thinner than the other condo I have from a different maker (& purchased on Overstock). My 10 lb cat can easily fit in the smaller house. Both cats though, have difficulty climbing from the top platform to the upper platforms. They're not too sure about being up there because the tree is shaky. This condo is not padded like the other one I have. For the price, it's not worth the money.

Although it looked good when I put it together, it did not stand the test of time. My cats were not that interested in it at first, but eventually started to sleep on it and play with the hanging mice. It has only been about 6 months and two branches have broken off all the way and the house's roof is caving in, This is with limited use.

You have to assemble this product and it's difficult to do with kittens running around. And there are some small parts, so you should put the cats in a separate room first before taking this out of the box. The material on the cat tree is a faux suede/fur... It's really slippery and my kittens have a little trouble climbing it. For assembly, you'll need a tape measure, since some of the pieces are 15'' or 17 1/2"... It's a hassle! Plus the material is not really glued on to the cardboard, which makes it even more slippery! Honestly, it's just frustrating because my cats have had trouble climbing it since they can't grip it well...

Overall, the condo assembled quickly, and is as was described. Hunter seems to love it! We will see if it hold up!

Now that the cat isn't afraid of it anymore, it is a great hangout for her. She loves the dangling mice o play with. We had to put it in a corner in order to keep it from wobbling so much, but that is just as well, because it looks good in the corner. I am considering taking it all apart and then asking someone stronger than I to help assemble it and see if it isn't as wobbly.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The products is pretty good quality, however it is a bit wobbly when put together. I tried to tighten everything as best I could, so maybe if I were able to tighten the pieces better it wouldn't be as wobbly?

On the positive side it came so fast I could not believe it, it is nice looking, I do like how soft the material is, and putting together only took my guy roommate about 30 minutes with an electrical ratchet; but this is where the positives end. I will definitely not order another cat tree on line and I really wish I had added to what is already spent to get something the cats could really play and have fun on. The worst part of putting it together was the lengths not being marked on the polls. The polls are also not exact to the lengths specified in the instructions and marked in metric so we had to dig out a tape measure that also has metric markings to get the polls in the correct spots. The center lower house is useless, completely unstable, and so small that even my smallest cat does not want to get in it. I will take it off once I find something to cover what will be an exposed screw when I remove it. The little basket is adorable, but not normal cat size so it is also pretty useless, but cute when I lay my cat in it since there is nothing stable enough to get in it from. If the small center house low house was stable the cats could probably get in it. The large platform is not accessible for an older cat. I thought there was some sort of variance in the platform that I could not see in the picture based on all the fabulous reviews, maybe other people only have younger cats, but one of ours is 16 and there is simply no easy for her to get up there unless we put her up there and then get her back down since it is just high enough to be too far for a 16 year old to jump down. The 2 and 3 year can get up there from a sitting leap, but since the large platform overhangs so far over everything else there is nothing, even if the small house on the bottom was stable enough, to use as a step to get to the platform for an older cat. I will say that the main platform house is nice and the cats have enjoyed the mice. Not seen in the picture is that the highest platform is a kitty foot which is adorable, but you cannot see it so what is the point. The clawing posts themselves are good, but you can see that there are not entirely straight which means they will snap at some point. The entire unit is not nearly as stable as it should be and if we still had our Maincoon she would have already brought is down trying to jump to the center platform. A Ragdoll or Persian I think would also bring it down. Your cats really need to be 10 pounds or less, young, and have good balance. I am concerned when our two younger ones really get going that together they may bring it down. The top platforms are not stable enough for the cats to be comfortable enough to sleep on them or play on them. It will eventually go out to the patio once I get a good tree for inside. It will be destroyed soon enough inside or outside so they mind as well have some fun on it outside. The return shipping is so much it does not make sense to return it.

I compared this against many other cat trees before purchasing and it looked like the highest quality, tallest for the price. I have two 4 month old kittens and they really like climbing up furniture so I wanted to give them something larger to climb. The cat tree was pretty easy to put together and my kittens started climbing on it immediately as I was putting it together. Unfortunately, as my girlfriend and I were lifting it up, one of the columns snapped and wasn't easily repairable. We called the company and they shipped us a replacement column very quickly. Just be careful when moving it, because it's hard to carry effectively without putting a load on any one column. The kittens love it. The only downside that I found is that it has somewhat of a strong chemical plywood smell that took a week or so to dissipate, but it didn't seem to bother the cats. Overall, I think it's a great value for the price and good quality. My cats are only 6-7lbs but it seems to be very sturdy with them both climbing on it.

The bolts stripped out on two of the beds attached to the unit within a few weeks of assembly so they needed to be removed. The lowest bed attached directly to the base in front of the cat tree has no support and needed to be removed immediately. As soon as my cat jumped into it, it tilted sideways. My cat is a one year old weighing 10 lbs.

This is a great cat condo in regard to price and what you get for what you spend. Also, the reviews I read about how difficult it was to put together was not accurate for me. But I love to "build" things and thought it was more fun than playing with linken-logs or legos! But if you are not spatially inclined and have trouble figuring out directions merely from a picture (no words) this might prove a little challenging for you. However, what I was NOT expecting was the chintzy quality of the carpet covering, and that it was only super glued on. Also, the screws which hold the different piece together "strip" easily and you have to be careful not to tighten them too much. Also, this cat condo is NOT for fat cats! I have two kittens and one 2 year old, 20 pound cat. All of them LOVE the cat condo but while the kittens can run up and down without any trouble, I am afraid it will fall over when the larger cat gets on it! Thank goodness, she only goes up to the second tier. My only other complaint was that I only got two of the three mice pictured that hang from the top pieces.

I live in a small townhome and decided to go up with this cat condo. The instructions were not very clear (as other reviewers have stated) the the material is average, not great quality. My cats do like the high purchases but within a month have already pulled two of the three hanging toys off. Trying to figure out how to make it more sturdy so it does not wiggle when my cats are on it.

I received this product really fast which was great! The instructions are horrible and don't make any sense because they send you a diagram with a bunch of letters on it. It's very messy and unclear and the pieces aren't labeled. 2 of the legs screws were completely stripped which caused me to have to super glue the pieces together. I was also shorted a piece and a screw to complete the tower. I would not recommend this product to anyone, it's cheaply made and very unstable

Pole, (letter A), the tallest one snapped in half upon twisting into place. :( There's no way we're disassembling this thing, packing it up and shipping it off to get a whole new set. Just be careful with the poles. We'll tape it up. If he gets up on it and feels it's unstable, he'll be sccared of it and maybe not use it. The directions are horrendous. I'm pretty disapointed. I'd consider pole A to be a manufacturer's defect.

These are great- dont waste the money on the ones at petco or petsmart- you get alot more for your money ! I have bengals and spynx cats , anyone who has them knows they have LOTS of energy and these are great for them ! I would get the tallest one you can get cuz they all wanna be on the top. One word of advice- do not get the posts wet at all ! they are not meant to get wet and will break : (
