I wish I had purchased this years ago!
Life is so much easier, the cat is happy and both dogs came wander freely. Best of all I just step over the gate! No moving and removing

mini pet gate
This is a great little gate--easy to install, sturdy, and looks nice. The only note I would make is that the gap between the wall and the first slat is 3+ inches, and my puppy squeezed right through it. Within another month he should be too big, so I am waiting to use the gate until then.

Loved it!
This gate is exactly as described and works perfectly. It keeps my pets separated as intended. The only issue with the product is the small door is big enough for my smallest dog to get through. But the way that the gate is designed, I expanded the one side and my cat goes in and out along the side.

Great gate
We got this gate for the bottom of a set of stairs to keep our mini dachshund from going on the carpet unsupervised. It works perfectly. Our puppy had already chewed through another gate, so we were glad to kfind something impentrable! We had to cut the "extra" length of the gate to get it to fit perfectly and had to add some wire posts on either side (he is a little puppy) but it works great. It was hard to find something for a little guy that isn't terribly inconvenient to step over - but this is perfect!

Fine product
We ordered two to block off both doors to the kitchen; they served our purpose until the pup grew too tall and discovered he could jump them. Best for small dogs - ours will be 30lbs when fully grown and could jump over them at 10 weeks old though they were still above his head.

Didn't work for me
I ordered this product to try and keep my 12 lb miniature dachshund in the kitchen while I was at work. The product was described as being longer than it actually was and therefore I had to have large gaps in the sides between the end of the gate and the wall. The first few days I tried using it, my dog slipped through the cracks in the side. I then covered the gaps using some fencing material that I had and came home to find that my dog had simply knocked the gate over and escaped. My dog is not a very wild or energetic so I am led to believe that it wasn't too difficult to knock over. This gate may work for someone who has a smaller space to fill or a dog that is not determined to escape. I did like the small door and I liked the fact that the gate is short enough to easily step over, however it unfortunately did not work for me. Because Overstock does not have free shipping, I did not think that it was worth the trouble to send the gate back so it ended up being a waste of money.

This gate was the perfect size.
Perfect for any one with a new puppy who requires training and also if you have an upstairs and don't want your puppy falling, this is great for keeping your puppy away from stairways.

Carlson white mini 18-inch-tall pet gate
My Maltese puppy could knock down this gate. In addition, it's difficult to keep it in place.
