Not Completely Advertised
The website had two sets dimension listings. The first being 38,60,1 which is what I believed to be receiving then under this, further down the page it said it was 38,38,1 which is what I received. There should be two dimensions with no explanation of what is CLEARLY being given. The product quality is great and the product itself is good but this was a real issue because I explicilty wanted a longer gate.

Best out there for the size (but still not great)
I recently purchased this gate with an extension for a 75" opening to contain a yellow lab puppy who we anticipate will be pretty big! The item was shipped quickly and in perfect condition. Once assembled the gate does the job but there are a few significant cons that we have discovered for it: 1)The walkthrough opening is quite narrow...we are good shape and need to turn to the side to pass through cleanly most times 2)The stencil for measuring out the appropriate drill heights is way off. If used as directed it would leave the gate airborne and have to step over about 8"...we kept the bottom holes near the floor to keep the gate as low to the ground as possible 3)The screws/mounting brackets do hold to wall tightly...after installing screws the would rotate freely and the mounting brackets would not be adhered to wall as necessary. We easily fixed this by getting plastic wall anchors and longer screws for installation. 4)The gate itself is somewhat "wobbly". This may be primarily due to using the extension panel as well but the floor support bracket helps a little. If they designed a additional bracket for each extension panel it would certainly help. Overall its a descent product that does its job, but installation may be a little tricky.

This beautiful pet gate has changed my life!
This pet gate has changed my life. I now can separate my myraid pets from when i do chores adn from each otehr when overly rambunctious or whatever. It is handome adn fucntional.You would be hard pressed to beat the price. It isturdy and clevrly designed.It is excellent detrrrant to dog chaos..AND No dog even from among my big ones has even TRIED to jump it. Two caveats: (1) be careful securing your pets with the cat door open as tiny, small and even MEDIUM size dogs, if skinny can also walk through! (2) it is a devil to set up and seems to be slightly too big for the space i measured carefully and was meant to accomodate it. But we hooked it up. It is a a great product, IMO. It si really nice looking, too.looks custom made.

Great - exactly what I have been looking for!
Our dogs are not allowed in the living room but how to keep them out with an open room design? Well you put a gate and this gate is just wide enough. The assembly instructions are easy to follow. Well engineered. We are super pleased. Only thing I wished if it also came in a darker color - brown or black.

Bad description and packaging
The gate arrived damaged. The packaging was minimal. It was bent in a couple places and the paint was chipping / peeling. It also could not be adjusted to fit a 41.5 inch opening -- despite what the description says. There was one 'extra' section -- in addition to the gate section -- but using this for a relatively short extension meant that the gate couldn't be opened. In other words, using so little of the extension left most of the extension blocking the gate. Returned item.

Bad Installation instructions!!!
This is a decent product but with the hardware provided its almost impossible to install. Why you get a 1/2" screw to attach the wall miounts to the wall I dont understand. Over time those screws will pull right out of the wall. I need to use 3" screw and it worked great. Other than the useless mounting screws this is a good product. The lack of common sense does bother me though!

Excellent decision
This was the perfect solution to our problem. Small (regular) baby gate allowed small dog to jump over. This allowed me to house both my large dog (golden retriever) and my small dog (shitzu) in the same area. This is not a super heavy duty metal which is what I expected, so dont think it will not need to be handled appropriately. If you don't have animals pounding up against it and you handle it appropriately it will do the trick. We had a large opening between the living room and kitchen and had to buy an additional section. I love the small dog door. It allows the little guy who doesn't eat all in one sitting to enter and eat at her leisure. I highly recommend this gate.

Exactly what I wanted!
I bought this gate to keep my medium sized Cockapoo contained in my den while we are out. He was able to jump over most gates but hasn't gotten over this one (yet!) The gate is well made, was pretty easy to install, is relatively sturdy and was priced just right. It is definitely working for us!

did not like
there were several things wrong with this gate, thew template was to long the gate support did not touch the floor so we had to rig it and add something to it to support it. The weld was crooked so it was not level we could not use all the bolts we could only use one out of three. The fence attached to the gate was up in the air.
