This review covers both the extension and the base gate. If your mounting points are on a stud, this will work very well. If you are planning on using drywall anchors, maybe not so much. I would recommend the extra tall gates right off because if you have a big dog, they will grow quickly. The ratchet system does allow for flexibility on installation footprint.

I am happy to announce the dogs are no longer under foot in the kitchen while I cook. They can no longer wander into the living and have an "accident" It really feels like I have my house back! Great product, easy to install, and very secure ( it keeps my 90+lb dog out). The only regret I have is that I waited so long to order it

I am very pleased with this purchase. I bought the Flexi Pet Gate and the extensions to cordon off a portion of my basement so my dog could be comfortable at night and not have to stay in his crate. We are both happy with this new arrangement. The product has lived up to my (hoped for) expectations.
