This is a quality product! I bought a wooden frame/plastic mesh gate to keep some new puppies confined to kitchen and they began gnawing the mesh right away. It was an extremely high gate and even my husband who is over 6 ft tall had trouble stumbling over it. I saw this Mini Tuffy and ordered it and hoped it would be a better alternative. It definitely is! It's sturdy. well made, short enough to easily step over and the rubber bumpers enable you to lower the gate all the way to the floor without worrying about the baseboards interfering. The wooden framed gate has to be positioned several inches above the baseboard which enables small puppies to crawl under. The positioning of the rubber bumpers solves this problem on the Mini Tuffy. Now I'm looking for a wider one to fit a 46 inch doorway! Great gate and I think it will last very well.Read More
We bought two of these and are very happy. They are the perfect solution: high enough to contain our puppy, and low enough to allow the cat and humans in the house to step over them. They are really easy to put up and take down, so we haven't even tried the doors. They were a great value--well-made, and less costly than the limited gate options available at our local pet store.Read More
It is a a little shorter than I thought it would be. We use it outside and it has rusted in two weeks.Read More
Our small poms didn't need the huge gates we had before, tripping over them, marking up the walls...There are perfect, wish there was just a size a bit wider for another doorway. Couldn't be happier with the style and quality.Read More
These gates are great for small dogs, they are low to the ground so a big dog would just go over it. My dogs are 25 IB dogs and could jump them if they really wanted too tho. the gates lock tight, you can easiley step over them and they won't fall down. Love them tons better then the wood gates.Read More
This gate is awesome. I purchased this to use on my back deck at the stairs for my mini dachshund. I had a wooden gate outside and of course that didn't last long in the weather. This gate is sturdy and fit the opening perfectly. I would buy one to use inside if I needed it. I like the height of the gate also. Makes it easy to step over if I need to.Read More
