the Carlson walk through-gate is wonderful, strong, and with 3 little Shih Tzu's trying to knock it down to get where they want to go, it doesn't budge. excellent product - i'd recommend it to everyone who wants to secure a pet.

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? the product is excellent - however the numbers (ID) beside the picture was not right. i originally ordered it on 11/2/11, but still don't have the right extension.

I had purchased this product in the past for an entry way from my kitchen to the livingroom. Works well and quality is good.

We bought this gate with 1 extension to go around our bedroom door on the inside so that our dog doesn't scratch at the door. Problem completely solved! The door to the bedroom still opens, and then you can walk through the gate door. The only thing I wish was different is that the gate is a permanent installation. My husband solved the issue by attaching latches to either side of the gate so we can remove it from the frame of the door when we don't need it. We have a nervous dog, so he needs to be in the bedroom when we have family or babysitters over. This means we only need the gate ever so often, and we can hide it away when we don't need it. Super easy to put together! We can now move it around the house too for other rooms we need it in.
