Fun Time for Furry Friends
Forget about getting any other cat condo from any other source. Overstock.com is THE place to get quality products and user friendly assembly instructions. Stick with this manufacturer and every room in your house might just have a cat condo in it (as mine does now). Started out with a multi-layered Armarkat 72" tall condo. Then got this one. It is slightly smaller than the high rise in the living room but still a joy for my furry friends to romp and play on. It goes best in a corner and I put heavy rocks (or weight-bench weights) just to ensure my 15 lb Maine Coon and 10 lb Tuxedo cats can leap and jump from tier to tier without teetering problems. This on was actually harder to assemble than the high rise because the ladder was like playing blind-man's bluff with the bolts attaching the ladder to the first shelf. I got the right bolt lined up and in the hole but the left one took extreme finesse and steady fingers (which I often do not have). To secure the left side hole I got a long nail from the garage that fit perfectly in the hole but was about 1.5 inches too long. A simple cut with a hacksaw and the now-shorter nail hammered perfectly into that blasted blind hole-alignment. That ladder ain't going no where now. HA! Of course the furries got to explore and help with every step. The instructions are user-friendly if you know your alphabet and numbers and can read line drawings. You'll need to leave your post-graduate education and analytical skills outside the assembly area because these instructions are too simple for advanced degreed individuals (myself included). Have since ordered another condo for the dining room and recently ordered a medium sized condo in a lovely shade of greenish blue for the master bedroom. Even the screened porch has a 48" condo for my kids to play on while i read and nap. I enjoy assembling them...too bad I have no more rooms that need a condo. Will hire out if local.

Cats love it. Me: Not as much
In all fairness, this is a great item for the price. It looks nice in a room. Not so big that it dominates a room, but big enough for two cats to play on. However, it took me about two hours to assemble and the section that was supposed to have a big round hole did not have one properly cut out. The carpet had been pulled over the hole and sealed but the hole was in the wood. So, when my cats lay on it, they sag into the covered hole. It's kind of like a hammock. Also, one of the holes drilled for the ladder attachment screw did not line up, so the ladder cannot be fully attached to the shelf. All that said, this was less than a hundred dollars and my cats love it (isn't that what really matters?). I'm pretty sure I'll get at least two or three years out of it (structurally) and by that time, my cats will have shredded the sisal and it will be time for a new jungle gym anyway. So, I would recommend this as a good alternative if you can't afford to spring for several hundred dollars or you have cats that would shred a more expensive gym in the same time as this more affordable one.

This went together easily, is sturdy and looks nice...but the size of the holes and beds are way too small for my adult cats. I will be donating to the local animal shelter since it's not worth taking it apart and paying for return shipping.

Cat Bungalow Makes Happy Cats
I would buy this again if the top level was solid. i am trying to figure out a way to replace this level with a solid piece, but since I''m not handy I doubt that this will come to fruition. My cats love it in front of the window to watch 'Cat TV' (birds at the bird feeder and the neighbor's dogs).
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The picture is an accurate one, with the exception of not being able to see that the top level has a hole in it, so the cats can't use it to sit on.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? The description was accurate, with the exception of not being clear that the top level isn't solid. Some reviewers mentioned a hammock feature on that level, but it was an actual hole on the one i received.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The cat tree is sturdy enough for my 3 cats, but non of them are very heavy. They weigh 9 lbs and less.

Cheaply made... dont buy!
Not only was it broken in the box, probably because they jammed the pieces in the box so tight. Also the quality of the faux wool was horriable. And even if it was delivered in perfect condition, I would not have been able to build it because the directions where horrible and incomplete. I have had a Armarkat cat tree for my two cats and wanted a bigger one, but this was a joke. I will only buy from Armarkat in the future.

This would be PERFECT for an adventurous kitten, but way too small for two grown cats...or even one grown cat! My "girls" thought I was joking when they saw it :) I have since replaced it with one from a major pet store chain, and it is much more suitable. I donated this one to the local shelter.

Better than Expected
This turned out to better than expected. I was concerned about the soft fleece material instead of carpet but it turned out to be just fine. The top platform has a whole cut out of it so essentially it more like a hammock rather than a platform which has turned out to be very popular.
