We travel with our standard and toy poodles and have been very happy with the quick and easy set up. We like how flat it is for storage. There is plenty of room for both dogs and helps contain them if we are going somewhere with out them. We can leave them in their crate in the hotel room. It is not sturdy enough for everyday use, but has been great for traveling.

We LOVE this crate! Bought it so we can take our retired Greyhound to friends/family and he'd have a place to escape to. He loves it and it's very easy to set up and break down. Takes up a good bit of space, but so does he. There's no way we could take his XL wire crate with us anywhere. This XL travel crate is a great alternative! So happy we found it on Overstock for such a good price.

Can't tell how this is going to hold up since we haven't actually used it on the road, but it's room with enough head room for my dog's bed (4" thick) and have her still be able to stand up without crouching. The crate is also more stable with her four inch thick bed. We'll see how crate holds up; I'm optimistic it'll be fine. Olive is a 62 pound German Shorthaired Pointer.

This is a nice large soft-crate, perfect for travel and staying in hotel/motor-inns with dogs that are not prone to roughness. No soft-crate is good for a pup that chews or a dog that will claw the soft materials. Our dogs are good in their crate behavior, and these will do just fine for shows/travel/a place that is close to owners as needed for an injury or...? The pad can be used as a base for something else as it will not hold up very long. It is fine for immediate use.
Did the product fit true to size? yes-
How is the quality of the product? overall quality is good - there are no strong supports for the framework, so we will watch that for weakness.
Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no imperfections in this product
We are extremely happy with our purchase. This dog crate has plenty of room for our yellow lab. He weighs 70 pounds and we could probably fit two of him in there. It is very durable. Our dog loves it. He immediately went inside it as soon as we put it up. Easy to transport also, much much easier than our old metal crate.
Loved the crate when we got it.Easy to set up. A bit flimsy. However had to return it because the frame ripped through the canvas so the poles were like spikes sticking out. Hope this was just a defect and the next one is ok.Nice and light and easy to travel with. Not good if your dog is active in his crate.
I bought this for a golden retriever puppy and it works really well for her, as she will grow into this crate as she gets older. It's big enough such that I won't have to buy another one. I would not recommend this product for a dog/puppy that will do a lot of scratching. I've had other crates similar to this one that foster dogs have destroyed the mesh. These are also great for travel.
Have been using this crate daily for our fifty pound Golden Doodle for about a year. It is perfect at home and gives her a sense of stability and home when we travel. Easy to fold down and pack. Very durable.
This crate is just okay. (FYI -- the soft-sided crates are definitely not meant for crate training. If you're crate training a puppy/new dog, you need a hard-sided or wire crate.) I compete with my dogs and use soft-sided crates for the competitions. This crate is a bit of a pain to set up -- the ends have to be zippered. Not the end of the world, but this method takes longer than the snap bars on other models. Also, because there are no internal support bars, it's flimsier than other brands/styles. On the plus side, this crate design is cheaper than others, and the light weight makes it easily portable. However, I would recommend spending a bit more and getting the *****
◾When folded, pet home takes up 93-percent less space and is 44-percent lighter
How is it possible to be lighter when folded? Are you taking all the parts off? A folded tent weighs the same as a standing tent.bikedog on Apr 27, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
