I have an older overweight cat, she can't get onto the bed anymore and I was being woke up in the middle of the night with meows....so I bought these steps after looking in my local pet store and finding nothing 1/2 way decent. Mellie-pie went up these steps right away with a smile on her face! She is so happy being able to go on the bed on her own! and you can just tell she is feeling better about being able to go where her brother goes. I liked these steps so much I ordered another (shorter) set for the spare room bed.

The quality of these steps are excellent and only takes about 10 minutes to put together. We use it for a small (5 lbs) dog and it is perfect for him to be a watchdog in the window. This is a quality item and looks very professional with any decor. Of course, it would make a perfect cat perch with outstanding scratching posts. Great purchase at an outstanding price!!

I actually purchased another one of these pet steps so I have one on each side of my bed. I have a cat with bad hind legs and these make it very easy for her to get up on the bed without jumping. Love them!

My oldest cat has arthritis - and is overweight, I am such a bad mom - and was losing her ability to get on the bed. And she really needs to sleep on the bed. :) These stairs are tall and since there are 4 steps she doesn't have to strain as much to get to the next step (she really sounds pathetic, doesn't she). Riblet is so happy that she can comfortably get up and down off the bed with minimal stress on her joints and spine. And my youngest cat thinks they're pretty great, too. The prices was amazing. Normally you find a short set of these stairs for $50 at the store, but these stairs were taller (very important as my bed it tall) and wider and much nicer looking. I needed pet stairs for my dog. I read other reviews before purchasing & most of the reviews seemed to be against using them for a dog. My mother has purchased several different pet stairs & said these actually looked better than any that she has ever bought. After much shopping around & against what other reviewers said I decided to try them out. For the price, I couldn't pass up giving them a try since most other steps were far more expensive. They are very sturdy & my dog loves them. I have an 18 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The bonus is that my cats use the upright posts for scratching posts so I can put their other ones in other parts of the house.

I think the top step should be larger so that the pet has space to curl up. Otherwise, I really like this product but my cat would enjoy it more if she could lay down on top step and look out thewindow.

These pet steps are fabulous. I love them and my cats love them. Very well built and sturdy. Just the right height. I highly recommend these over the others. Good neutral color and also makes a good extra scratching post.

These steps have been great for our two cats, one of whom is older and can't easily make the jump up to our high bed anymore. It took a day or two for the cats to get comfortable using them, but now they both (including the younger one who is a great jumper) use them every time they want to get on and off the bed. They were easy to assemble and feel sturdy. I think we'll be using them for a long time.

These steps are very sturdy. They are also easy to put together. The top step is higher than my bed and my bed is pretty high so you may be able to get away with ordering the smaller one. That said, the larger one was only *** more than the medium size so it was well worth the price. I bought this for my 20 pound, 10 year old cat who can't jump up on the bed any longer. I followed a reviewer's advice and put some cat nip on it and that did the trick as far as getting him to use the steps. He now uses the top step as a perch. I am very happy with this product.

i bought the steps for my 15yr old cat who insists on jumping onto a high ledge and was having trouble. he now uses the step to get up and i dont have to worry about him. the extra benefit is that my younger 3 cats love playing on it. they love to go between the 2 pillars and poke thru the openings. They also use it as a scratch post. it is unique in that they can navigate thru it unlike other solid stairs. I think construction wise it is made well and sturdy but one note is the carpet is thin and it does shed puffs of fuzz. Overall it was a real find!

I looked at a dozen pet steps at least and settled on the Armarkat product. Glad that I did as it is well made and the perfect height for the little dog to get on the bed. No more waking me up to lift her up.

I purchased this item to allow my cat with a bad leg to ascend and descend the window perch to watch the birds. It was easy to assemble and is the perfect height. I no longer worry that he will further injure his leg and need it amputated. He uses the stairs multiple times per day. It is very sturdy. Even my 23lb cat uses the stairs with no problem. Who knew I was also buying a feline enrichment item. I highly recommend.

These are great steps. Easy to assemble, nice wide steps, sturdy. Cats love them!

I tried to use this for something I don't think it was intended for, so take my review with a grain of salt (I think it was intended for cats, not dogs). I bought this for our dachshunds because we have a tall (32") bed that they cannot get on or off by themselves. Turns out the steps are not wide enought for their long bodies... if you combine this with the fact that these are pretty wobbly due to their design (dogs weight <15lb each), the dogs are terrified of them. I have plans to physically alter this, as the design is really basic and it looks like it would be really easy to make wider steps and stabilize them better (remove one of the steps as well). The overall construction isn't bad, and looks like it would be easy to alter, as all the materials could be found at local stores. Overall: I recommend this for cats only.

These pet steps were easy to put together and are very sturdy, like the other Armarkat products I have bought.. The price is good, and delivery from Overstock was very prompt. Armarkat's other products seems equally high quality. Even the enormous Armarkat "cat palace", which is over six feet tall, is solidly put together.

My old (16 years old) cat has been using these steps for a couple of weeks. I have two sets of steps going over a gate into the cat's bedroom, where the dogs aren't allowed to go. I put one set of steps for her to go up and the other set of steps on the other side of the gate for her to go down. She used the steps immediately after I assembled them and put them in place. They were very easy to assemble, are very sturdy and they look great. These steps are perfect for me as they match the Armarkat Condo Tree that I purchased earlier. I love these steps and am so happy I purchased them; and they were less expensive than other steps I was looking at that didn't come close to the looks and functionality of these steps. I would recommend these steps to anyone and I have. They are a great find, excellent quality.and I believe my cat loves them, too.

My cat had hip surgery and can't jump any more. I bought the stairs so he could get up on my bed. He learned to use the stairs in 1 day and now he uses them all the time. The other cat loves to play with them as a scratching post, so I'm am definitely getting 2 uses out of this one item. I highly recommend these stairs and the price on Overstock was very good! The stairs are also very easy to assemble. My 6 yr old nephew helped me and he probably could have done it himself.
