I read the other reviews, and they were all very helpful. - The tree condo is sturdy and a good value. - Not too complicated to put together, especially if you assemble from the top down. - Off-white color is neutral, and the carpet and sissel are of a decent quality. - I personally love the small footprint the tree occupies. I live in a small condominium, and it fills-in an empty corner beautifully. The one exception I have is that my kitty is not a huge fan of the new cat tree. However, I definitely feel this is a character-flaw of my kitty, and not a problem with the tree itself. My cat is also not sensitive to cat nip, so I cannot use the herb as an incentive. That said, I do have some neighbor cats from across the hall that like to visit, (don't ask), and they LOVE the tree. So I'll say, '2 out of 3 cats love this cat tree'.

Cat Mansion!
Just got this in the mail yesterday and it came broken down into pieces, as expected. Opened the instructions and had it fully assembled within the hour. Basic screwing is all that's required. The tool that comes with the set is a little low on the leverage, so you may need an additional crank to get some screws in; no big deal, though. My kittens have taken to it instantly. I put some treats on the top level and they both scrambled to get up to it the quickest. They love to run and jump on the poles and climb all the way up on them. The hanging toy, while not a main feature, is hilarious. Both kittens bite it and try to jump off the mansion with it in their mouth and it snaps back into place. It's so funny watching them try to figure it out. I did put 20 lbs worth of weights on the bottom platform because it is a bit wobbly on carpet surfaces. This is just a precautionary measure, though. LOVE this item. Perfect and exactly what I needed.

Tall and neutral color
This kitty condo exceeds my expectations and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a tall structure for your cat(s). My cat took to it right away, and she is a little cautious as she was a shelter cat. The 2 platforms near the top are great and seem like are a lot of fun for her to look down on things. Additionally, this was really easy to put together with simple directions with helpful pictures per step. You can also detach the top portion if you want to change things up. Lastly, the ivory color is totally neutral and would fit most any decor. Good quality and doesn't have any wood or weird warehouse smell to it. My only complaint is the box is pretty heavy. If you don't have a house with front door service, plan on getting a cart or some help to carry it. It's heavy and square.

Kitten and Cat love it!
This cat condo fits nicely in my small apartment. I was able to put it together quickly with no problems. The 2 cats (one a kitten) took to it right away with glee! The kitten flies up and down it, and both cats enjoy the perches at the top to sleep on. Before I had this, the kitten was climbing any and all furniture to get some height... now she climbs only on this and the other furniture is left alone. Very happy with the results of this purchase. Saved us some wear and tear.

This changed my cats lives....I'm serious! I have two dogs and the cats LOVE being able to crawl to the top of this and look down at the dogs :) They had been starting to claw the furniture and this stopped them from doing that too. When they feel like climbing and scratching they knew this was the place to do it! FABULOUS product - it's actually quite pretty and neutral too....fantastic purchase!

Nice cat tree for the money
This is a nice cat tree for the money. The overall design makes it very easy for the cats to go up and down. There are no inaccessible levels for almost any cat, even older ones because there are no flush set solid edges like you so on so many of the ill designed cat trees. The other plus is the cat condo is plenty big for our big kids and the two top platforms have nice little edges that make the cats feel more secure when they are on them. One of the three fur kids is pretty much on it 24/7. The only improvement would be for it to be a bit heavier as two of our kids are still young and play rough with each other and they get it rocking. I am going to try to put some bricks on the bottom to see if it improves the amount of rocking; even though it does rock, I am not overly concerned that it would go over unless they were really, really on super rampage, but the addition of a 3rd rough-houser would probably take it down.

AMAZING!
Oh my god! This cat tree is AMAZING!... I read all the great reviews on the website prior to purchasing, and I was so so so pleased that I did my research because this is literally the best cat tree I have ever come across. I have two (VERY ACTIVE and rowdy) siamese cats, and as soon as my boyfriend and I started putting this together, they were freaking out! I've never had them so interested in something. It came in a decent sized box (still small enough to fit in our regular sized car), and all the parts were there, and no damage whatsoever! The shipping time was also great considering I live in Canada. It only took about 5 business days to reach me after it was shipped. As for the tree itself, it is identical to the picture! SO easy to put together (Took my boyfriend and I only about 20 minutes to put together!). It is so sturdy too! My cats are already jumping around on it and it barely moves. Mind you, they are only about 5 pounds each, but still! two at once and still barely any movement. I also like how the color is a nice neutral colour - it will match anything if we decide to redecorate. We have it set up in our living room, and it is not something that I am embarassed about! If anything, it's the nicest piece of furniture we have! LOL All in all, I would HIGHLY reccomend this cat tree if you love your little babies and want them to have a fun, safe place to play on all day long. and believe me, they will play on this ALL day long!

This is a nice affordable cat tree. I have three cats, and it is large enough to occupy all of them simultaneously. No one uses the top shelf at this point, it may seem a bit insecure to them - since my cats weigh between 10 pounds and 19 pounds. I think it would be ideal for smaller cats, and certainly for those who have not been de-clawed. Larger cats have a bit of difficulty climbing because it is so narrow, but with placement next to a couch it gets easier access to the higher shelves.They rarely use the bottom shelf or the hanging rope. The unit comes with a couple of pom-poms on an elastic string, but I couldn't find a way to attach it to the higher shelf as shown in the picture. I just removed the elastic string and they play with it as a ball on the floor. It took using catnip on the shelves to get the cats started on it, now - 3 months out from the purchase - they are all using the tree as a sleeping spot daily.

Great tree for the money
Like many other reviewers, I had been looking for a large cat tree for some time but was discouraged by price. This one seemed to have a lot of positive reviews and otherwise fit the bill very well (with the help of a gift certificate). Assembly was very easy and took little time with the enclosed Allen wrench. (A tip: to get increased leverage, use the short end in the washer top and pull the longer end; for screwing in corners, use the longer end in the washer top and pull on the shorter end.) Even when I pulled the joints tight, the tree moves a little, but I think this is due to the carpet beneath, not the tree itself. At first, my cat did not like the tree, probably because the wobble seemed to make her nervous. I moved the tree a little closer to the wall to brace it and then used some treats to coax her up and down a few times and now she loves it. I like the fact that it is tall (over my head when I'm standing) and includes "open" perches as well as the enclosed "house." My cat likes to snuggle in boxes and under things, so she needs that variety. The perches are a good size and have a little backstop on 2 sides; my kitty is 12 pounds and curls up nicely on them. Also, the package included two bouncy toys; one attaches to a loop on the bottom of the top perch and the other is presumably a spare. I just tied the elastic around another part of the tree so she has two toys to bat at.
