I've had this now for three years, one of my two cats still uses it daily and still sleeps in the basket and on the top platform. Even though both are declawed now both still instinctively use the scratching poles. Great item one of the best I've seen and very well contructed.

We have 2 one-year old cats and they really enjoy this condo. They were crawling all over it before I even had it put together. The one piece of advice about constructing this cat condo is follow the instructions. When it tells you to build from the top down....build from the top down.

My kitties received their cat tree very quickly, (as usual). I think they knew it was for them when I dragged the box through the door...they were more excited than usual. It didn't take to long to assemble. They are very good about sharing the little house. One prefers the round beds. I have 5 full grown cats and they're not little. This tree can hold them all no problem. It is a great item. I have it in a sunny room with sky lights above, so they're nice and comfy. Thanks O

My cats have never been happier!! The instructions were not the best, but once figured out, it was not so bad. I now have something that is an attractive piece of furniture, but for the cats, and they love it.

I would recommend this tree for smaller cats only. The condo box is small and difficult for my large cat to get into. The hole through the platform could be larger, I'm concerned my big cat will get stuck in it. The condo wall near the opening seemed flimsy and weak. All else seems good. The assembly instructions were easy to follow.

Our cats love the tree. We put the "nests" up higher, but the cats still don't use them and don't seem to like the ladder either. However, they hang out constantly on the upper levels, they love the hanging mouse, and the ladder protects their food and water from the dogs, so overall, the product is well worth it.

We've "collected" stray cats, till we now have 6 indoor/outdoor cats (from 6 lbs all the way to 16 lbs). After our old cat tree finally lost the last of its sisal, we decided to buy one from Overstock. I chose this one because it has enough hammocks, levels, houses and sisal scratching posts for all my cats. I received it 5 days after I ordered it - Overstock's usual great delivery service - and opened the box the next day to start putting it together. There are no written instructions for assembly - just pictures, so after studying the parts list and the assembly pictures for about 15 minutes, it took me only about 45 minutes to put the cat tree together. The only reason it took me that long is because I had 4 cats jumping around on it as I was trying to screw the pieces together! (Start assembly from the TOP of the cat tree -- very important!) It's very sturdy, very aesthetically pleasing and my cats love it! And because they love it, I love it. I highly recommend this cat tree to anyone with cats - especially if you have a Siamese...they go crazy with the hanging toy. I gave it 4 stars only because when I got to the part where I needed to attach the legs to the base of the tree (the piece that holds the whole thing up), the screw holes were not aligned properly. So I only got two of the legs screwed to the base piece. Before letting all my cats play on it, we had them test it for stability and sturdiness. It works fine, but we're going to fix the situation by drilling new holes in the base (yeah, right...that's on the to-do list right after blowing the snow off our sidewalk in South Texas! In other words, it's never gonna happen.)

I bought this tree for our first kitten and am very pleased with it. It is super soft and the size fits well in the corner of my living room. My kitten absolutely loves the 'house' and has slept in it multiple times. Since I am planning on getting another kitten, I just wonder if they will fight over this 1 house-LOL! The price seemed fair, the shipping cheap, and delivery was quick and efficient. My only (minor) complaint is the instructions--I would enlarge them and make them a little clearer. I put this together by myself and since I don't do these kinds of things often, it took me longer than it should have (my boyfriend is surpised I did it by myself, but women can do these things too!). All in all, though, I am extremely pleased and so is my kitten! My boyfriend has a cat and is buying from this company (a different tree, though) because of my positive experience.

The ladder and the size of the holes in the little house make this a great condo for a ferret. Assembly was a hassle. I have to put the thing next to my wall unit because otherwise, it's hard for my cat to get on it. On the positive side, he does like to sit on the very top and play with the mouse.

Very pleased with the sending company. Overstock.com reps were very helpful. Recieved item very fast and earlier than predicted. great product. I will say the construction directions were a bit difficult to follow. But otherwise all is very good.

It's a nice cat tree, but i was very dissappointed that an important piece was missing when it arrived. the assembly directions were also difficult to interpret.

Great product like a cat mansion, feel like climbing up there myself. I only wish my cat would feel the same about it and use it MORE!

Just bought this cat tree after looking at many at local stores which are way overpriced and litterally half the size. I've got three cats all 10+ lbs and it supports all three at one time without wobble. Was a snap to put together, didn't take more than 45mins.

My cats love the tree condo, they were all over it before it was fully assembled. I have very large cats and when they were playing at the very top the post shook a lot.. It would have been nice to have the diminsions of the condo in the description because there is no way my cats will fit inside.

I purchased this wonderful cat condo over 2 years ago. My 2 older cats still love it. They even share it with the new kitten. All 3 of then romp and climb and scratch it and it still looks brand new. I just run the vac over it and it cleans up nice. I have it by a bay window and Sandy and Pearl sleep all curled up in the pods. I recieve complements all the time on the condo. The only tricky part is that you have to put it together from the top down. Great buy.

I took the advice of another poster and printed out a picure of the condo before I tried to assemble it. I'm glad I did. It made it much easier and I did it by myself.The fleece was a bit slippery at first but my cat was used to it by the end of the night. It would have been much more expensive made from carpet, though. It shouldn't be hard to add that yourself. Like others have said, the side pouches are useless as she won't sit in them at all. I'd suggest leaving one of them off. I store her toys in the other.It's very sturdy and my cat loves to take naps on the highest platform.

My cats just love this tree! They run up the ladder and they nap on the upper perches and in the little house, but nobody uses the baskets/nests. The dangling toy is a big hit. They all use the sisal posts for scratching and the fur covering appears to be holding up very well.I too was concerned about stability but I have seen my heaviest cat climb up the side and it didn't even wobble. I had read reviews about the assembly, so I approached with caution. It wasn't that bad, but I had to print out a picture of the product from this website so I could be reminded of what I was supposed to end up with.This is an excellent price and I will consider getting a second one when I move into a larger house.

We have had this tree for almost one year and it is holding up very well. Instructions were difficult to understand and one bolt was missing (got another from the hardware store). The cats love it and use it almost every day. A little wobbly when there is a WWF match on the top platform but very sturdy overall. If I were to buy another I would get one with more platforms and not the soft baskets - my cats have never curled up in the soft baskets. Overall- Excellent bargain.

The instructions were inscrutable. They had no explanation but numbers and parts listed in inches in their descriptions but the parts list had them in metric measures. I got it assembled from the picture but came up with an extra screw and other piece of hardware and a bolt hanging about 2/3" below the surface of the board. I've assembled a lot of furniture and never ended up with extra parts or something wrong. Oh, and I had to have Overstock send me the instructions which weren't packed with the product. After getting them, they were really no help. Overall, after I do a few adjustments to reduce the danger of an exposed bolt and other part, it is a nice cat tree. Just be prepared to have someone very handy to put it together.

My cats love it! The instructions building it from the top down was a little weird and confusing, but it was worth it. They sleep on it, play on it and climb it. If you have the room for it, its definitely a great buy. One thing is that its fur not carpet so my cat has tried to eat the fur... hopefully your cats are smarter than mine.
