alexandriaovershopper Rating:3.0It really does look great but the bottom was stained and our dog has resisted sleeping in it. She sniffs and sniffs it. I think she smells something. The only way we've been able to get her to sleep in it is to remove the pillow which is too puffy. Even then, she is not happy to get in it. She prefers this one that we got for upstairs. http://www.overstock.com/Pet-Supplies/Oval-Cuddler-with-Cushion-Cream-Pet-Bed/8157516/product.html

Joseph L. Rating:4.0This cat tower/scratching wave is not just unusual. it's much more sturdy than what you'd find in pet supply stores. The circular cubby is generously sized, to accommodate even a large cat.

Louis F. Rating:5.0We purchased the 55"x38"x4" version and are very pleased with the quality and price. This is 4" of full memory foam and look & feels no different than the foam on our Tempur-Pedic bed. Most pet supply stores are selling beds of equal quality for hundreds more. Our 12 year old American Pitbull Terrier loves the bed. We've owned it for 4-1/2 months and he sleeps on it nightly. Very easy to take the top case off to clean. Highly recommended.

hk41 Rating:5.0This is one of the higher quality products at the most competitive price in this category at Overstock.com., with better than expected delivery service after I ordered the product.( it came 3 days earlier than expected ) The unit was mostly assembled with minor additional assembly required taking just a few minutes. Our miniature long haired Dachshund has twice the room he needs, enjoys the super smooth ride, and now expects me to take him for a neighborhood tour daily. Additionally we found the stroller to also be a superb mobile pet carrier, as well as offering the dog a psychologically secure environment and safe haven from other dogs and kids while we tour the neighborhood. The little guy loves it even more after we added a spare chewwy bone supply and a water bowl on top of his blankey and pillow in the unit.. The size will easily accomodate larger dogs. It's a doggy penthouse on wheels.

royaltreat Rating:5.0Product is exactly what I wanted. Just refinished hardwood floors in my new home. Wanted a gate that would keep my large and small dogs out of the living room and still look classy. This gate is well constructed and looks great with my hardwood floors. Price was half that of the pet supply websites and looks better than the ones they offered. My wife and I both love it!

Cheri E. Rating:5.0I am very pleased with bright color and design of the bed. The sleep pad is soft and warm. My dog got right into the bed and fell asleep for 11/2 hours! My dog has severe spinal issues and can not get on my bed but I worry about him getting a chill on the floor. This bed sits on the floor but with the higher sides all the way around and the overstuffed mattress he is not on the floor at all and sleeps very comfortably curled up into the side or stretched out on his back with his blanket! Love Love Love this bed and the price and quality surpass anything I saw in the various pet supply stores I visited.

dawncoleman Rating:5.0What an outstanding value! I shopped locally at a farm/pet supply store and a similar tree to this was over $300.00. This tree is extremely sturdy and my cat love it! This is by far the BEST value I have ever received from Overstock. I am very pleased.

Sara A. Rating:5.0I was scheptical about this tree because it was so cheap (less expensive than junk cat trees), but the one I got is just as sturdy as the carpet-covered trees at my local pet supply store. It had a pretty powerful new carpet smell when it first arrived and my cats wouldn't go near it, so I left it outside in a covered area for a few days to air it out. To get the cats used to it, I gave them treats on it, now they love it.

sallymarcum Rating:5.0I bought this dog bed after my dog chewed up a $250 dog bed from pet supply retail. There are no zippers on this for the dog to chew off. And the price is right. I have had this for a year and it is still fluffy. I have not had to wash it yet, just shake it out and sweep it. I can't say enough about this dog bed and its great value for the price. My dog is 65 pounds. The medium size is perfect.

Your pets are more than just animals; they’re part of the family! Make sure your furry, feathery, or scaly friend feels at home with the right pet supplies. Pet gear will make it easier for you to care for your pets, and it will make them happier, too. Before you start shopping, think about your pet’s basic needs. Once those are covered, you can add the fun stuff. Eating, sleeping, pottying, and playing are basics for any kind of pet you bring home. Pet food and food dishes will be the first things you’ll need; make sure you have a water dish, too. Next, think about where your pet will sleep. A dog or a cat will like a pet bed, while a bird needs a perch, and a lizard needs a warm rock in his aquarium. Housebreaking pads, kitty litter boxes, and cage-lining materials are essential to keeping your home sanitary. And a bored pet is an unhappy pet; pet toys are as vital as food and water. Now you can think about the fun pet supplies. Dog sweaters may be important for small dogs in winter; but otherwise, little outfits are mainly for special occasions. Simple toys will keep your cats entertained, but cat furniture will give them even more of a thrill. And adding aquarium decor to your fish tank not only makes it look cool; the hiding spots will become favorites for your fish.
Your pets nap a lot, and you’ll want to make sure they have the best place to catch some Z’s. Dogs and cats alike love a warm nest to sleep in, and pet beds provide the perfect resting spot. Here’s how to choose the perfect one. Make sure they have a pet bed that is suited to their size. For dogs, this means making sure they can stretch their legs out fully on the bed. If you have a large breed cat or dog, make sure the bed can accommodate him when he grows to his full size. You’ll also want to consider your pet’s sleeping style. If your pet mainly likes to sleep curled up, choose a round or oval bed. Square beds are best for dogs who like to sleep with their legs outstretched. Cats are more likely to sleep curled up, so their beds can be a bit smaller than a dog’s bed. If your pet has a disability, make sure he won’t have to jump over a high side on the bed in order to settle into it; look for pet beds made just for animals with special needs. For your pet’s health, pet beds should be replaced every year unless they are machine washable. If it is washable, you can use it until it is worn out.
At once dignified and ridiculous, a cat is a charming pet that may seem to almost care for herself. You will, however, need a few cat supplies to keep her happy and your home in good shape. Cat food and food dishes are one of the first things you’ll need when you bring home a kitten. Plastic food dishes are economical. Ceramic dishes cost a bit more, but they can help prevent skin conditions on your kitty’s chin. Make sure you have a good water dish as well. Cats need a considerable amount of water to stay healthy. A water fountain with continually moving water is appealing to many kitties. A litter box and kitty litter are essential to keeping your home clean. Cats like a bit of privacy, so you may want a litter box with a top. If you’re training a new kitten, you’ll probably only have to show her the litter box once, and she’ll know to use it for the rest of her life, unless she’s ill. Cats are hunters, and if they’re living an indoor life, they’ll be happy hunting the toys you give them. For a real treat, spoil your cat with a cat tower so she can enjoy the view from a high perch.
Crates and kennels not only keep your dog from tearing apart your house. Dogs are naturally den animals, meaning they like a cozy, enclosed place to sleep or just to relax. Crates and kennels also provide a sanctuary for your dog, a safe place where he can relax when he’s overstimulated. When you’re choosing a crate, the main two things to consider are size and material. To choose the right size, measure how much space your dog will need to stand all the way up and turn around. For materials, you can choose how sturdy the crate needs to be depending on your dog’s breed and temperament. When your dog is young, you can put him in his crate for up to three hours to help housebreak him. His bladder can’t wait much longer than that. Start with short periods of time, and give him treats for going in and when you let him out. Put your dog in the crate at night, but be sure to keep the crate near your bed, so he isn’t lonely and so you can hear him whine to go out for a potty break. Once your dog is crate trained, he will voluntarily go into it when he needs time to himself.
