Feel safe about impact on dog's health
I am very relieved that these are sold here. After years of having dogs I am learning by trial and error to try to find internet reviews of dog treats prior to purchasing them. Doing so has taught me that some treats from across the world have been associated with canine kidney damage. My vet looked at this bag and said: "These are fine. These should not cause a problem." That means the world to me because the dogs are always very excited when I offer them these treats. We have 3 dogs; small, medium and large. The treats are not uniform in size. I give large ones to the large dog and small ones to the small dog. I could find cheaper but the chance of canine kidney damage is not worth it to me to save a few bucks. Superior product.

A little disappointing
I did not realize I was not getting the premium chews as I was not aware there was a difference. The quality really does drop. The size of the strips are much thinner and smaller. It is hard to tell if the product does as good of job as the premium chews, but I would expect that is one of the key factors in making them non-premium. I will stick with the premium chews from here on out.

My Bassett's VET recommended these chews years ago for her teeth. Are very beneficial to healthy, clean, strong dog teeth. Dogs love to chew - making these a wonderful replacement for pillows, rocks and shoes! I highly recommend them.

my dog loves these!
My pitbull mix loves these - she thinks they're a combination of a chew toy and food. They exercise her strong jaw and help clean her teeth. The only caution I would give - is to supervise your dog when she/he is chewing since the chews can be thick and my dog sometimes thinks she can swallow big pieces of it. Usually she'll regurgitate it if it gets stuck - but it was scary to watch her do that. I've had to pull one especially-thick piece out of her mouth. But she hasn't done it lately - so I think she's learning to chew it down to a smaller size before trying to finish it off.

Great value...half off what the vet charges
These chews are excellent for good oral hygiene for my dog. He thinks he's getting a treat. My vet sells them for more than double what overstock.com charges for the exact same product. They are a long lasting chew...he's not finished with them just in a few hours..more like a few days. They do not smell and are not messy. GREAT PRODUCT AT GREAT PRICE!
