these are by no means premium labels. they get the job done, but don't expect the output to be super dark like a high-end label. for the price I guess you can't complain, and they aren't horrible. I think for a start-up or small business looking to save money they are fine - but if you're looking for something larger, or need very high quality labels to maintain a premium brand image I would find something else.Read More
These labels are EXCELLENT. These labels are fresh and print well. We've ordered before from another seller whose product was made in China and old; and the print quality was poor and shipped in a bag and damaged in transit. These items were shipped professionally with no damage incurred while in transit. We love that they are made in the USA and the quality shows. That's why we bought them and we're very happy we did. We will be back. Thanks as always for the excellent service and quality product.Read More
There are a lot of cheaper alternatives to the pricey name-brand labels out there, but I was scared off by some of the not-so-flattering reviews. When I found these labels at Overstock, the reviews were good, but there were only two, so I was hesitant. Well, I've been using these labels for about a week now and at this point, I'm pretty comfortable with my purchase. So far so good. They're not quite as thick and glossy as some, more pricy, name-brand labels, and they get light marks on them when scratched by fingernails, etc., but overall, they're quality labels. I've gone through about a hundred labels so far and they seem to work very smoothly with my LP2844 - no jams of any kind. And they're sticky as can be (I once attached one to the wrong box and that thing did NOT want to come off) which makes me feel confident that they'll always stay intact in route to their destinations.Read More
I had been purchasing these from someone else but they were selling bad labels that caused my printer to stick. I had gone through all these rolls and they are all good so I will be re-ordering!Read More
I had been purchasing Eltron/Zebra labels from a supplier in Missouri. I just started a roll of these labels and the glossy finish of the labels produces a better, readable label. I will know how good for certain when I get to the end of the roll and if the labels 'bunch up' close to the spool.Read More

How to Buy a Down Comforter
Two major considerations when purchasing a down comforter are content and construction. The Federal Trade Commission has standards set that specify labeling procedures for products that contain down. If the label of a down comforter reads 100 percent down, the comforter must contain down feathers exclusively. The same is true if the label reads pure down or all down. Most down comforters are made with goose down, but some may include down feathers from other species of fowl. Look below to learn how to buy a down comforter.

How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. An Introduction to Lab-Created Gemstones
If you've been shopping for gemstone jewelry, then you may have seen some gems labeled as lab-created or synthetic. These jewels were manufactured in a laboratory instead of forming naturally in the earth. Does this mean a lab-created sapphire is not a real sapphire? No, not at all. The lab-created stone has virtually the same mineral content and crystal structure as the natural stone. Created gemstones are real gems of good quality and dazzling color. To make an informed buying decision, you'll want to read this introduction to lab-created gemstones.
Best Bookshelf Materials
It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy. New Laptops vs Refurbished Laptops
When you browse the large selection of laptops here on Overstock.com, you may see this icon that labels them as "refurbished." A refurbished laptop is either a computer that has been returned to the retailer or manufacturer for a refund by a customer or a computer that has just come off a lease. The computer may have had a slight defect or simply not met a customer's expectations. Before a laptop can be resold, any defective components are repaired or replaced and the computer is then carefully examined to ensure it works properly. Any computer that goes through this process must be identified as refurbished or reconditioned. Refurbished laptops can be a bargain compared to some new models, but it's important to make a few comparisons first to make sure you're getting a good deal.
Best Vitamins to Take Daily
It's difficult to eat well enough in our fast-paced world to get the full daily recommended amount of nutritional support from food. Taking vitamins is a simple way to ensure that you are maintaining your health properly. Supplying your body with the right amount of vitamins will help boost your immune system, reduce the amount of harmful free radicals in your body, increase your energy levels and help you feel your best. You can get the nutrition vitamins that you need by adding a multivitamin to your routine. When shopping for a multivitamin, look for these vitamins. Vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of the best nutrition vitamins to take daily. Vitamin C is responsible for assisting the body in absorbing iron to the blood. It is also essential for the development and growth of healthy cells, and it can do wonders for your immune system. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, so it needs to be replenished regularly. The recommended dose of vitamin C each day is 90 milligrams for men and 75 milligrams for women. B vitamins. When comparing multivitamins, check for a comprehensive set of B vitamins. These water-soluble vitamins are essential for blood health, a strong immune system, a robust metabolism, healthy skin, proper cell development and nervous system function. If you do not receive enough of the B-complex vitamins, particularly vitamin B12, you can develop anemia and have an increased risk for nerve damage. B vitamins also go by a variety of other names, including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin, folic acid and cobalamin. Each B vitamin has a different daily requirement, so check multivitamin labels carefully. Vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential for the healthy development and maintenance of bone and skin. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, which prevents bone density loss and fractures. Vitamin D can be absorbed from sunlight with approximately 15 minutes of sun exposure each day. If 15 minutes of sun exposure doesn't fit into your daily routine, consider purchasing a multivitamin with vitamin D. The daily recommended intake of vitamin D is 200 to 400 IU for both men and women. Avoid taking more than 400 IU per day, as vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and has the potential for overdose. Vitamin A. Vitamin A is essential for healthy eyes, a robust immune system, reproductive health, and good skin and bones. Vitamin A is also an antioxidant, which means it helps promote healthy cell function and growth, so it affects the entire body. Adults should get approximately 3500 IU per day, with at least 20 percent from beta-carotene. Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant. Its main role is to guard cell membranes from free radicals and oxidation, which can damage organs and tissue. Vitamin E is also currently being studied extensively to determine its role in preventing different types of cancer and other serious health problems. Adults should get approximately 35 IU of vitamin E per day.
