I get rave reviews for this wastepaper basket and the photos do not do it justice. I was a wee bit concerned about stuff making its way through the mesh. It has not been an issue at all.The quality is nicer than expected and the welds on the metal are clean and professional. Perfect for a modern, country, French Country, Metro Parisian, or Deco environment. I actually could see this accent garbage can anywhere - but it looks super when paired with black metal, woven wire and Parisian-influenced room design. I LOVE THIS basket! And it does not need a bag - unless you want - and also perfect for the home office!

bought this for my bedroom, keeping the feng shui needs in mind. this totally suited our needs. it is big enough to hold quite a bit of 'waste', yet not an intrusive look. small items such as qtips and rolled up gum paper tend to 'jump' out thru the open holes when emptied, we can live with it for the need we have

Having moved into swanky office premises lately, I didn't want to go the hum-drum ***** route with office accessories. This is a classy wastebasket, simple lines, the black wire is elegant and more of a statement than your usual office receptacle :-) I'm glad I bought it.
