quality cash box
I purchased this cash box for my 2 college students. I was pleased to see the quality and durability of this box. The plastic tray seemed a little cheap, but they probably will take it out to put other stuff in it. I don't know if my boys will use this, but it is there for them to store their wallets, phones, ipods, psp's, etc while they are working out or whatever. You can tether the box to a chair, desk, or bed. I wish this would have come in a combination lock style so you don't have to worry about loosing the key.

would have probably got a larger box - but no dimensions i could find on website prior to purchase. a bit smaller than i'd hoped for. we'd hoped to use to store more than just cash - but it really isn't large enough for anything other than just what it's called - cash box. suggest dimensions be included in product description

Extra Security
I'll tell you the real reason I bought this item. Recently, my Uncle stayed over my house for a few days and he noticed that I had a safe in the bedroom. He told me not to put all of my cash in there because in case of a fire all of my cash would burn. The cash box that I bought from Overstock.com will be used inside a bigger safe that I bought and I will keep that in my bedroom. In case of a fire and I am not home all of my cash will be doubly safe. HW
