Works for me

vasha from Oregon, Sep 12, 2009

Its a heavy duty stapler...who cares about style? It easily staples from 2 to 150+ pages, cleanly and consistently, with an adjustable guide to determine how far from edge of paper you want staples to go.It SHIPS WITHOUT ANY STAPLES, and you do have to buy different size staples to accommodate different quantities of paper, so be prepared for a run to the corner office supply store. I've used Swingline for years, and chose this model because I know from experience it is a tough workhorse, and lasts forever.

Just what I needed

bookrus from San Antonio, TX, Jul 22, 2009

I work for an elementary school, and our paperback get well used. In fact, the pages fall out of some of these little books after even just a few times because the binding is not very good. I decided that stapling the pages, and then covering the spine with book tape (at least 3.5 ml thick), might make these books last a little longer. So far, so good!At the same time, I purchased the 15/16" heavy duty staples, but I also later purchased some 1/2" ones at a office store. I think I will also stock some of the "smaller" heavy duty size, maybe 3/8", so that I can use whatever size I need. Too bad that staples don't seem to come in an assortment box of various sizes.
