This stapler is a work-horse. Very durable and high quality. The paper guide stays where you adjust it and jams are few and far between.

One of the specialized uses for this product is in saddle-stitching (binding) small booklets. This product works well for 6x9" booklets with no more than 20 sheets. I was surprised that Overstock listed this sort of specialized product, among a huge selection of other staplers.
