    • Great Work Horse of a Pen

      I bought three of these pens: fine point black, medium point black, medium point silver.First about the pens weight and appearance. The weight is comfortable, very well balanced and the area where you grab the pen (from the silver divider to the nib) has a comfortable gel like surface - preventing slippage for all models.You also receive both a small box of cartridges along with an ink well converter, which was a nice bonus.The fine point can skip from time to time - but for those using a fountain pen for the first time - it might be the best way to go since writing wise it is closest to a roller ball pen.The medium point I personally prefer because it smoothes the handwriting out a bit, however you have to adjust your writing to allow for the additional ink.I purchased the blank fine point pen and wound up giving it to my 11yr old son - who loves it and uses it in school.The black medium point pen I purchased for myself and use at work. When I thought I might have lost my black one - I was distraught enough to by a replacement one in the silver color. Fortunately I found my black one - but enjoy these pens so much I decided to keep the silver one as well.None of them have ever leaked and they only stopped writing when strangely enough I had run out of ink. There is no window to see the level of the ink in the pen unless you unscrew it.Overall this is a great value for a fountain pen without having to spend a few hundred dollars or settling for a

      Pen arrived in nice package but was not secure inside box. Pen and supply of ink 'bounced around' during shipment, without apparent damage. Product package should secure pen.NO USER'S Guide was provided with the Pen! A search of the Internet finally revealed a site where instructions were available. The cartridges and filling device actually 'snap' into place but without collaborating instructions I did not want to take a chance on damaging the pen. Pen should come with a User's Manual / Instruction Sheet. Fine nib works well, but on 'recycled' paper ink will bleed, the degree of bleeding depending on the quality of the paper. Fountain Pen adds nice, professional touch to signature on personal or business correspondence!

      This is a great pen. I have pens that cost 5 times the price of this one and do not write as well.One of if not the smoothest writing pens I have ever used. If you want a real enjoyable pen to use this is the one.Keep in mind that this is a fountain pen just put the tip on the paper and let the pen do the work no hard pushing required.Can't say enough good stuff about this pen. I would recommend this product to a friend

      This pen is a pleasure. The comfort grip makes for easy writing and the tip is smooth. Ink, of which there is a good supply provided, flows well with no noticeable flaws. The fine point is easy to write with and I would find anything wider to be difficult to manage in a notebook size print. Of course, the price offered here make this an excellent value and I would recommend to anyone that they are buying a great pen at a great price.

    • 1st purchase, but not the last

      I am an avid lover of fountain pens so when I saw this item I could not pass it up. It's a beautiful pen and the fine pointed tip writes immaculately. I was pleasantly surprised that the package also included a box of ink cartridges. My only regret about the purchase is that I did not buy two.

      I purchased this fountain pen to write letters to my family across the country. Love the grip, style and how it smooth it writes. Came with ink converter and a pack of ink cartridges. Would recommend to a any fountain pen user. Thanks Overstock!

    • Great Fountain Pen

      This product is exactly what was described on the website. I am very happy with it so far. The ankle flows smoothly and does not skip. The only complaint I have is that the grip should be a little lower. I would strongly recommend ordering from overstock.com. My order arrived on time and without damages.
