I purchased two of these in an effort to better organize my basement and they filled the job beautifully. I must admit, when I saw the plastic pieces that were to hold the shelves and the fact that the two plastic pieces did not seen to "lock" in place, I was worried. I did not think they would support the shelves let alone anything of weight put on them. I was wrong. It has been a little over two weeks since they were put to use and I admit, I did periodically go to see if any of the plastic pieces had broken, but so far so good. The shelves are quite sturdy and were not difficult to put together (I put each shelf together by myself in about 1/2 an hour each - but I took my time). I would definitely recommend these and am actually considering purchasing another one.

I bought this for a storage room, but it's attractive enough to be anywhere that you need sturdy shelving. It's design is really ingenious and requires no tools to assemble. I'd buy another one in a minute if I needed more shelving.

These shelves are kept in my basement. I have 5 so far - and may order more for my garage. They are really nice looking, but most importantly they are STRONG and SO easy to assemble. Highly recommend this product.

These shelves hold 3 ac's among other very heavy objects in basement. Looked around a very long time for nice looking heavy duty shelves that could do that and be reasonably priced . Easy to put together too.

Shelving is not sexy, but it is neccessary. I ordered these to tidy up our office mail room. It fills the bill perfectly. Easy to put together. Don't be scared by the plastic parts. These shelves are strong. Delivery was prompt. The box was damaged on the outside but the shelves were intact. The only downside - I wanted to order the extra 2-shelf kit but Overstock only carried the 36" wide, not the 48". Had to go elsewhere to order.

I can't believe how inexpensive these shelves are and how much they hold (both from a volume and weight perspective). We use these at work. They are nicely coated in a black epoxy-like finish, super easy to put together (I had my 15-year-old son do it!) and need no tools. The shelves can be adjusted to any height.

Have this in a new sliding doorway for my plants. It was easy to assemble and holds the weight of many plant pots with no problems. Allows a lot of plants to receive light through the grillwork of the shelves. Very satisfied!

This is a great shelf, but you could get the same thing at your local hardware store for A LOT LESS. However, since it is big and bulky, you would need a big car or truck to get it home. So if you live in the city, and don't have a vehicle, then yes, this is a great deal, because it gets delivered right to your front door. The product itself is great, and it was delivered on time, and in good condition. So if you don't have time to go to the store,and have extra money, definitely buy from this site.

I ordered 2-4 ft shelves they sent 1- 4 ft and 1 - 3ft shelve. Spoke w/customer service and this is how they fixed the sistuation. They sent me 2 relacement 4ft individual shelves...............they require four! so what the heck am I going to do w/this mess????? They did not refund my money as I paid for 2 four foot units and recived 1 four and 1 three foot unit. Not happy with overstock very disaponitment!!!

Fairly easy for me to put together - but another set of hands was helpful. Only suggested improvement would be to have a way to secure the plastic clips before the next shelf was lowered on to them. The clips could shift or slide down before the shelf was secure, and readjustment was necessary.

We use these shelves to hold all of our storage boxes in our office. They are very easy to assemble and are easy to move into place. We are able to stack 2 boxes on top of each other and get 3 across each shelf. We have approximately 20 of them and they have never given us any problems!

I bought 2 of these for storage in my garage. I was able to assemble them with NO tools and it took me about 1/2 hour each - if that. Instructions were clear and accurate. They look great, are very sturdy, and I am thrilled with them. I usually consider Overstock before I buy from anywhere else because they are usually the best priced, the deliveries are fast, can't beat the shipping costs, and I have been very pleased with the quality of everything I have purchased from this company.

I used this unit instead of a much less versatile and much more expensive armoire.
